After having my children try out these paddles for over a week, I can now say that it's the perfect kit for beginners. The paddles are very sturdy, yet very light, making it perfect for the clumsy little ones! I have tried different materials and fiberglass seems to be spot on for children and one of more premium materials overall for pickleball paddles. I love that the kit also comes with 4 balls (2 for indoor and 2 for outdoor) in addition to the small backpack to make it easier for the children to keep everything needed together. My grandkids went nuts! When they saw the backpack, they were instantly intrigued, but when they opened it they acted like it was Christmas all over again....they played for hours!     • Less control with fiberglass, but cute!
The paddle pack and paddles are really cute. My 10 year old granddaughter loves them. These fiberglass paddles are snappy, but she has more control and plays better with a more expensive graphite faced paddle with a larger surface that we have. She doesn't seem to notice her accuracy suffers though, and chooses these over the other paddles every time. They are cute and she really likes the little backpack they came in. Totally happy with my purchase. The quality is excellent - same fiberglass material as an adult paddle, just sized down slightly. And it comes with a cute backpack that is perfect for the paddles and balls - enough room for a water bottle too. Wish I had these when I was a kid!
