I ordered this fixture to replace a very outdated ceiling fixture in my hallway between the garage and the kitchen. It arrived neatly and securely packaged in a cardboard box with styrofoam inserts to keep it stable and safe during shipment. The installation to the ceiling junction box (which is not included but mine was already installed in the ceiling from the previous fixture) was very easy and took about 15 minutes. I really like the 3 different settings of brightness, which are warm white, bright white, and daylight white, and are all very different from each other. It is like having 3 different sets of lightbulbs but without the hassle of changing and buying lightbulbs because the brightness is adjustable by a switch located under the glass shade, which is a simple twist-on so it is very easy to take on and off. I like the simple, classic design of this fixture and that it is rated for damp location because this hallway also opens to the laundry room and a half bath. Finally, I’m also excited about the prospect of not having to purchase and change the lightbulbs because this LED light fixture doesn’t use them. I’m really happy with the look and the performance of this ceiling light fixture, and I recommend it. ... show more

    • Selectable color temperature with very high CRI makes this a great ceiling light

LIT-PaTH is the only brand I've noticed lately that offers switch-selectable 3000/4000K/5000K lamp color *PLUS* a CRI (Color Rendering Index) of 90+. Their sister-brand Gruenlich offers similar fixtures but so far I have only seen Gruenlich fixtures with CRIs of 80+ ... so maybe LIT-PaTH is their premium brand? CRI makes a huge difference in the appearance of the stuff in your home. In my opinion it is always worth the extra money to get the highest CRI you can afford since it just makes your home that much more pleasant visually. This company seems to do a good job of creating fixtures that eliminate the LED hot spots sometimes visible in competing fixtures. This is not the cheapest fixture they sell, and if you already know the color you need there's no sense spending money on this switch-selectable color fixture. But if you're not sure which color you prefer, or if you want to be able to change the color whenever you feel like it, I think this fixture is a reasonable buy, although pit seems priced a bit higher than it should be. ... show more

LIT-PaTH LED Flush Mount Ceiling Light Fixture is ETL rated and dimmable. The brightness temperature can be adjusted with an inside switch to one’s preference and this 11” fixture is only 16.4 watts and 1150 lumens. It weighs 2 pounds, 3.8 ounces. This fixture is rated for damp locations so it is a good choice for baths and laundry rooms. It has a metal housing and a frosted glass shade. The shade removes with just a twist. With the shade removed, it is easy to move a switch to choose either Warm White (3000K) or Bright White (4000K) or Daylight White (5000K). I have it set for 5000k which gives me good light in my laundry room to check for stains, etc. on clothing.     • Attractive. nicely made, handy light color temp switch

This is a pretty unique LED lighting fixture. The color temp can be changed using a switch on the inside of the fixture. It provides three color temp settings, so the light can be set to whatever is best for the room/setting. It's a great feature, especially since this is a fixed LED system (e.g., you can't replace the "bulb" since it's built into the fixture). Installation is simple -- no different than any other hard wired lighting fixture. The glass enclosure has a great feature in that it can be removed for cleaning without undoing any set screws. There's a groove in the glass that catches three installed screw "pegs" to hold the glass in place. To remove, all you need to do is turn the glass counterclockwise until the groove disengages with the pegs. Do the opposite to re-install it. The process is quick, easy, requires no tools, and the glass is as secure as as fixtures that use conventional set screws. Excellent innovation! The overall build quality feels very solid, and the design is such that it will blend in pretty much anywhere. I'm using it in a bathroom, and appreciate the fact that the fixture is designed for damp locations. The only downside to this, as with any other built-in LED, is that when the LED dies the entire fixture has to be replaced. LEDs tend to have long life spans, so hopefully it will be several years before that happens. Very pleased with the design, looks and performance of this fixture. Five stars! ... show more

I love this simple, ultra bright light fixture. This model is wide and fits well in the foyer off my kitchen which leads out to a deck and has a door to a bathroom. This foyer was always dim and dark. The old fixture contained one bulb with a glass frosted glass filter under the bulb. This fixture was very easy to install, with pre-installed wires that come with easy to connect strands to your power. It has a switch inside (facing the floor, above the frosted plastic cover) that changes the color of the light from warm white, to cool white, to day light. (yellow light to ultra bright white). Additionally, it is dimmable, and since this is 1150 Lumens (about the power of three 60 W light bulbs), being able to dim is tremendously useful. Overall, highly recommend. ... show more
