The stand work great. You can adjust it up a short distance and rotate it around and horizontal. But you can’t adjust it vertical unless you put something behind it to force the phone forward. An iPhone in an Outterbox was a bit loose so you had room to move it around. The stand seems to be quite stable and can be placed in many ways. I’m using this for my iPad mini and my iPad air11”. It is of okay quality, the base and the part that holds devices is made of plastic and the stem that hold it up is aluminum. The base is just heavy enough to be able to hold max iPad size 11”, I would not trust anything heavier as it is a bit wobbly when you tap things in the screen, but sturdy enough. The telescoping part works fine and so does the swivel part to tilts your device up an and down. It looks nice and sleek and was only one screw to install. I wouldn’t recommend for iPad 13” it would just be too heavy and big. For everyone else get it! ... show more

I usually get a phone stand with side clips so my phone doesn't slide around on the stand if its bumped or something and this time I tried this one without the side clips, and its excellent. The rubber backing keeps my phone in place just fine. Its also tall, which is why I was trying it, since I need a stand on my desk that can hold my phone high enough I can talk into it while I type since I take IT calls.
