I bought this quite a few yrs ago and it served me so well. It is incredibly well made. Thoughts went into function quality. It broke due to my fault. I saw 2 cheaper items not of this brand as they were well under this price. I tried the first but not stable enough to hold past a few uses. Could crack super easy. I saw a 2nd one (both generic brands) and tried that one. Better support but could not rotate the phone while watching it. I had no surprises with this one so I bought it again. What a difference in quality and appearance. I can swivel my phone now while using it. The pink is beautiful. The stable support is unmatched by most. Not one single problem. Just a quality holder that you won't regret. By far, worth the money.. Not sure why anything under 4 or 5 stars would be given; there is nothing bad I have seen in either purchase. I like everything about it. It adjusts in several configurations. It holds my tablet, even though it's in a case. There's a space for cord to connect when phone is sitting on it, so it doesn't inhibit charging while it is on the stand. There is a hole on back to thread the cord through, I guess that is to stabilize it. It is versatile. The base and the support panel are plastic. The retractable support is aluminum. I love it. I use it all the time for my phone. It's sturdy, easy to adjust and use. I like the ability to adjust the height, and to be able to rotate it. I like the look of it. I even purchased a second one as a gift for someone.

The base seemed of decent weight and quality --- the anti-slip pads worked very well on a glass desk top and would likely prove as good on other surfaces. However, the stem and holder were definitely too lightweight and the minimum height was higher than ideal (this item might be better with a slightly heavier, wider and more rigid stem (more metallic than plastic) that telescoped in three stages. It handled the weight of an iPhone 12 Pro Max (vertically) and a 10" Android tablet (horizontally), each with the added weight of their own sturdy protective cases, and seemed relatively stable when just sitting on the desk. I did not explore how well the devices might have remained in the cradle if accidentally nudged --- the base would have been fine but I'd be much more nervous about them staying seated if the stem was accidentally nudged (and the taller minimum height would be another disadvantage if the device fell). However, unlike a slightly different, more metallic, option I bought (which has a wider cradle but still handles both tablet and phone fine) the screens of both the iPhone and tablet shook quite significant when typing on a keyboard on the desk. While there seemed no danger of the devices falling out it would not have been ideal for watching content (or pressing screen) and this was not a problem with the other option I bought so will be returning in favor of buying a second of the other. ... show more

EDIT: After giving three stars and posting the below original review, seller reached out to me an offered me a full unconditional refund. I am not displeased with the product and am using it just fine (after modifying it as stated below) I felt bad receiving a full refund even though I am actually using the product. So I have modified this review to 5 stars and I will NOT be accepting the offered refund. GREAT SELLER!! And the product is not too bad either. It's perfect for its intended purpose. It was only because I wanted to use it for something else that I had to modify it (and by "modify" I mean, 5 minutes with a pocket knife shaving off a little plastic bump) You will not regret doing business with these guys ORIGINAL REVIEW: great if you want your phone at an angle (which, granted, most times you do). But I wanted to use it as a "selfie stand" as well and for that, it has a plastic stop that prevents it from tilting vertically (what you see in the pics is as low as it goes) I was able to modify it by shaving off the plastic stop ... show more
