I bought this quite a few yrs ago and it served me so well. It is incredibly well made. Thoughts went into function quality. It broke due to my fault. I saw 2 cheaper items not of this brand as they were well under this price. I tried the first but not stable enough to hold past a few uses. Could crack super easy. I saw a 2nd one (both generic brands) and tried that one. Better support but could not rotate the phone while watching it. I had no surprises with this one so I bought it again. What a difference in quality and appearance. I can swivel my phone now while using it. The pink is beautiful. The stable support is unmatched by most. Not one single problem. Just a quality holder that you won't regret. By far, worth the money.. Not sure why anything under 4 or 5 stars would be given; there is nothing bad I have seen in either purchase. Decent little stand. Pivots and holds the position without drooping. The telescopic height is a great feature. After upgrading from my iMac to a Mac Studio, I lost the webcam for meetings. This made the phone a solution to that issue. Would buy again.

i got this because i’m recovering from surgery and i wanted to use it in bed. i was concerned from other reviews it wouldn’t be sturdy enough because im not using it on a solid surface like a desk. however it has been great. holding up my phone or ipad has been such a chore. especially since while i was in the hospital they took a zillion labs and my arms are bruised and sore from being stuck so many times. it holds up my iphone 13 pro max and ipad gen 3 or 5 or 7 or whatever dang gen i have, haha well whichever. it’s big with a hefty case cause im clumsy and it holds it great. and yes i can push on it and it doesn’t fall over. change apps and things and it’s fine. my phone has a case too. not as hefty. it angles great so i don’t have to move my head too much. which means a lot to me since i had brain surgery. is it super sturdy on a bed? no. but it’s not meant to be used in this way so i get it. i place something with a little weight on the base like my weighted eye mask or wrap a bit of blanket around it and it’s just fine. but really does work great for my needs. better than i expected honestly. i just needed to be able to watch some shows while recovering from major surgery. and not have to hold anything or crane my neck too much. so i can only imagine it works even better for its actual purpose on a solid surface. which it does btw. i have also it used on the table while eating. also can’t beat the price! i got it on the deal for 7.99. if you’re on the fence. buy it now! ... show more

The base seemed of decent weight and quality --- the anti-slip pads worked very well on a glass desk top and would likely prove as good on other surfaces. However, the stem and holder were definitely too lightweight and the minimum height was higher than ideal (this item might be better with a slightly heavier, wider and more rigid stem (more metallic than plastic) that telescoped in three stages. It handled the weight of an iPhone 12 Pro Max (vertically) and a 10" Android tablet (horizontally), each with the added weight of their own sturdy protective cases, and seemed relatively stable when just sitting on the desk. I did not explore how well the devices might have remained in the cradle if accidentally nudged --- the base would have been fine but I'd be much more nervous about them staying seated if the stem was accidentally nudged (and the taller minimum height would be another disadvantage if the device fell). However, unlike a slightly different, more metallic, option I bought (which has a wider cradle but still handles both tablet and phone fine) the screens of both the iPhone and tablet shook quite significant when typing on a keyboard on the desk. While there seemed no danger of the devices falling out it would not have been ideal for watching content (or pressing screen) and this was not a problem with the other option I bought so will be returning in favor of buying a second of the other. ... show more

The design includes a way to keep your charger wire out of the way. It is solid enough to hold your charger or iPad at an adjustable height and angle. Great size and price! Very easy to use. I highly recommend it!
