I really like this liquid blush stick - it leaves a nice tan-like glow to my cheek bones. The packaging takes a little getting used to, thus the 4 stars. The cap was hard to pull off, as I don't have a very good grip. After struggling a bit trying to get it off, which I finally did, I could see that there is a little sponge on top of the tube, and when you turn the upper portion of the tube, it opens a valve and lets the liquid out onto the sponge applicator. I was able to turn it ok to start the liquid flowing, but then I forgot to turn it back again to lock it before I put the cap back on. I had to tug really hard on the cap to get it off again, and in doing so, I squeezed the tube, causing an excess of liquid to overflow. I ended up losing some of the liquid blush - I will have to remember to lock it again next time before I put the cap back on. Update: I really do like the nice glow this blush gives my cheeks and it smooths on easily. The applicator has a design flaw, however. I was using it this morning. I got the cap off and twisted the top open to squeeze out some liquid. It didn't come out right away, so I twisted the cap a little more - to my surprise, the top doesn't have a stop - it came completely off and fell onto my carpet, leaving, well as you might guess, a nice stream of make up on my carpet - in several places as the top bounced. I still like the product, but be careful of the twist open top, or you might get an unpleasant surprise as I did. ... show more

I forgot to choose a color so I ended up with the one—that i didn’t realize was highlighted already—the dark contour. But I’m keeping it and using it. It is dark but I found I could vary the intensity easily by the amount I apply. This makes me think it could be adaptable to a variety of complexion colors. The only thing I’m not loving about it is that it has some gray tint to it when applied, not just brown. The top of the tube has a sponge applicator. Pull the top off then twist below the applicator to open and dispense it. Make sure you don’t twist the bottom part closest to the tube because the contour will run out the side instead of the applicator and you’ll have a mess. I plan to experiment a little—maybe I can add a little into my winter foundation to make it a little deeper in the summer when I‘m outdoors more and get some tan from the summer sun. Then hopefully I won’t need a different foundation for summer. We’ll see. It’s a good price. I’ll probably come back for the blush I intended to order, esp for the price. ... show more

This is a nice blush stick with a foam applicator tip. It was a decent size tube for the price. I dotted it on my cheek and them tried to blend it. It didn't want to blend in, it seemed to dry quickly. I felt it was a matte finish and was not highlighting.

I really love this blush/highlighter color. It's very pretty and a touch shimmery! The only complaint I have is the tip for twisting on/off and the sponge applicator aren't that great. I use my fingers to blend it. I have also used this as a quick eye shadow when I'm trying to get ready really quickly; it works well for that too. This tube with a soft tip is a handy way of applying a contour color, and the color is true to the photos on the Amazon page. It goes on a bit dry but blends in well. A little bit goes a long way.

The color (highlighter stick number 2) was more of a bronzer for my skin tone. Depending on your skin, it might be more highlighting. The dispenser has an on/off turn, so that's nice to keep it closed. It dispenses pretty easily. I still use my brush to blend rather than the applicator. I wasn't sure how to use it and then I realized you can twist the piece at the top to open/close which is fantastic, no one will waste any product by squeezing the tube accidentally.
