  • Worth every penny.
Best product I’ve bought for our travel trailer by far. Installed on Grand Design 2600RB, made a unbelievable difference. I chose to weld the bracket to the square rear bumper vs tap and bolt it In because i store my sewer house in rear bumper.

  • Nice and stable
These are a game changer on our fifth wheel. They create so much more stability. They were a little difficult for installation, but we’re happy we have them. It’s so nice to walk through the trailer without it moving so much. Definitely recommend if you have a travel trailer.

  • Huge improvement
These stabilizers are awesome. If I could I would give them 10 stars.

  • Sturdy
Installed and took the camper out for the first time with them. Nice. Installation manual is purely a guideline. I had to make several modifications.

  • Great Investment
I am a really lite sleeper so any movement usually wakes me up. These stop sooooo much movement. I wouldn't say they are easy to install but the install is very straight forward and as long as you have a drill and and ratchet set you can install these. I wish I had had deep-well sockets but I made do with box end wrench and an adjustable wrench. Make sure that you have a place to mount the bars that prevent side to side movement. I was able to find a piece of angle-iron that I was able to support and was able to support the rear supports as there isn't a "cross" beam on the back of my camper other than the bumper which you should not connect these to. They add enough hardware to fit, from what I can tell, any application. Really, the only measuring that I did was to make sure the mounting locations were symmetrical on each side of the camper ... show more

  • Product is good, supplier/seller is not
They work well on our 31 foot Coachmen Freedom express. But stars deducted because supplier/seller is slacking. Received order and package was badly banged up & re-taped. There were 2 struts missing out of the set. I took pics and contacted Lippert and contacted (called) Amazon about it. Amazon agreed to have a replacement set sent to us. That set was complete, and the product package was inside a brown cardboard box this time. I believe was UPS delivered both sets, but most likely the seller/supplier is sending out incomplete (returned?) sets. I notified Lippert that we had received complete set, but also advised them to have a hard look at entities that are selling their products on Amazon. ... show more

  • Cheap self-tapping bolts ether didn't work or sheered off
I just finished the installation so I am not able to say if the stabilizer bars work or not, but I can review how the install went. The install was made much harder and took significantly longer, because the provided self-tapping bolts are cheap and stripped when trying to tap them in, or in one case just sheer off. (Plenty of lubrication was used when tapping them in) When the bolt sheered, I had to drill it out, then drill a larger hole and use a standard bolt and nut. For me this wasn't an issue because it was exposed to the outside so I could get a bolt on it. If that wasn't the case, I would have had to purchase new self-tapping bolts that are actually hardened so they won't have the above issues. Out of 8 self-tapping bolts I was only able to get 3 of them to work. This caused me to spend a few extra hours trying to get the strong arms setup. I finally gave up and drilled the larger holes and used the standard bolts that were provided. I didn't have enough washers because of this or nuts so I had to purchase some more from the local hardware store. After the install I pushed on the back up the trailer and was still able to get it rocking pretty good. The solution would be to provide 2 more strong arms for the back that would be installed across the back, like they are in the front. I am going to see if I can buy 2 more to try this out. ... show more

  • Great! might be hard to install though.
Once installed these work very good. They don't take away all the trailer movement but they do a lot. After installing them and setting my trailer to the suggested instructions it does work very good. The biggest draw back was the install, my current scissor jacks had small bolts on the bottom then what was provided for the strong arms, so I had to drill out all the holes for the bolts that came with the strong-arms. After drilling out all the holes though it was pretty easy to get everything set up and bolted in. I had to put 4 in the back and 2 in the front because my front jacks are set at an angle. The kit also comes with plenty of hardware to install how you want. I would say that you can review the guides on how to install but then choose how to install on your own. all in all these are great! ... show more

  • Nice system to stabilize a trailer
Package arrived on time. System was missing one self tapping bolt/screw. Instruction are almost useless. Pictures in instructions are completely useless. As a professional welder and fabricator since 1978 this is a decent product, built well and seems solid. I attached this system to a thirty three foot Coachmen travel trailer with serious stability problems while stationary. I elected before hand to use four bars at the rear of the trailer and the remaining two bars at the front. I truly believe this system should come standard with eight arms not six. The eight self tappers do work when used properly pre-drilling with a self centering 5/16" drill bit. Be careful where you use the 3/8" washers as the exact amount and no more are provided. The t-handles provided to lock down the two piece bars are in a bad location but I really don't see a viable alternative. After installation I rechecked each and every piece, you do not want this coming apart traveling down the interstate. The BAL jacks I attached this system to were a perfect fit for this item. This is a great system and I gave four stars because for the money they could have at least provided decent instructions and ALL the parts. Anyone with basic skills with a drill and wrenches and a tape measure should be able to install this system in one day if not two. My trailer is now rock solid steady. Also, if you don't like the gaudy decal on each of the six stabelizers, they peel right off. It's late August and I wanted to add a tip that many may have missed in the instructions. After deploying your jacks and tightening the bars, apply a little more down pressure to each jack. This will take out a little more wiggle in the trailer. UPDATE: a four week trip to Arizona with our seventh stop in Sonoran desert. Been here two months and stabilizer system has made all the difference. Every three weeks or so the jack pads settle into the desert floor so I re-adjust all four corners and its no fault of the stabilizers. Best money I've spent in a long time. Highly recomended. ... show more

  • New Stabilizers that actually work
Bought to replace portable tension style stabilizers that I always had to fight getting situated under the carriage. First arm was a bit of bear to work in, but followed directions, watched the Youtube video and the rest of the struts installed easily once I figured out the mountings. It was a fairly straight forward installation, don't cut corners on the install. Do your prep work in advance, and have all your tools at the ready. Drilling and thread tapping into the frame is a real manual workout. Adding the struts has made a world of difference in the stability and elimination of rocking/pitching in my trailer. Installed with a step stabilizer, as well, there is no rocking what-so-ever. Will have to wait and see how long they hold up. But at the outset they do the trick. ... show more

  • Great once it is installed, but the install is horrible
These are great once it is installed, it made our trailer rock solid, and they work well putting the jacks up and down. even in the strong wind gusts we had no rocking with these installed. Easy and quick to use. But the problems are aplenty when doing the install, this will differ depending on the type of jack and underbelly you have. If you do not have access to the underbelly and are using the brackets you will have to get self tapping bolts, which are not included. Luckily we had access but then you use the stiffeners instead. Some of the angels can be difficult given where they attach to the frame.(one ran near our propane supply line so we had to be careful when dealing with that. The other problem as others have noted, the bolts you may be replacing at the bottom of the jack, may not be the right size, so now you also have to drill out the bolt holes on the jack to accommodate the larger bolts. The instructions could also take some reworking with some posted videos of problem points. They read like a choose your own adventure path and instead of being clear, they are anything but, lots of page turning and swapping. ... show more

  • Works very well.
Would have given 5 star but the main bolts that attach to the supports were too short by 1/2 to 3/4 inches. They are special bolts and from other reviews I read there is not an alternative other than to replace all the stands which would add way more cost and effort. I managed to install but the nuts are only about half on the bolts, again since the bolts were not long enough. I will have to watch them closely and keep some spares in case they come off. Disclosure, I did not attempt to contact seller about the issue but other reviews said it was not helpful. ... show more

  • Electric Stabilizer Jack Install with lots of leftover parts
Well, the product seems to work as advertised. However, Lippert needs to revise these kits and manual for travel trailers that have either manual or electric trailer jack stabilizers. We have electric stabilizers on our Rockwood 2706WS. I read through the instruction manual, which is not the most intuitive. So, after calling Lippert and being transferred and talking to 3 different technicians, it became apparent that noone really could directly answer my question about the installation with electric stabilizers. I did get some answers, however, I did not have a very high confidence with those answers. I watched several YouTube videos and learned more from them than Lippert themselves. It then became apparent that I would use one set of jt strongarms across the rear and one set on the front electric stabilizers down the side of the camper. This leaves one set of jt strongarms leftover with lots of hardware. In other words, I over paid for this kit to not use all of the parts included. In case you were wondering, there simply is not enough room on the front of the camper to go across the front with a set of jt strongarms. One YouTube video I did see, made modifications to the extension pads that have to be installed on the stock electric jack footpads by drilling extra holes to then attach the strongarms to and then mount them under the tongue, which could potentially interfere with your anti-sway bars, which is why they only recommend to install strongarms across the rear and down the sides on the front of your camper only. There just isn't a good way to install the strongarms across the front of the camper if you have electric stabilizer jacks. Just be aware that you will have an extra set of strongarms leftover with lots of hardware. Also remember you must buy two sets of 4 of the electric stabilizer jack pad extenders for this system to work. I hope you find this review helpful if you have electric stabilizer jacks. ... show more

  • Very Sturdy, instructions sub-par
These stabilizers work very well and remove 80-90% of the wobble on my 36' Passport travel trailer with 4 perpendicularily mounted scissor jacks. If you follow the directions verbatim for a trailer with an enclosed under belly you will not have enough mounting spacers (instructions call for 6, but only 4 come with the kit) if you follow the instructions for open underbelly you will use two of the four included stiffner mounts instead. Customer support from Lipeprt (LCI) is absolutely terrible, as always. However amazon was great to deal with and was able to solve my issue in a timely manner. ... show more

  • Need some mechanical inclination to install
This kit is a pretty straight forward installation if you have some skills. It took me around 3 hours due to distractions. It would be nice If the kit came with enough nylock nuts, I was short three from the start. I laid everything out in my tool tray prior to beginning, this is where I noticed the nut shortage. A quick trip to the store solved the problem. Overall good product. ... show more
