This mattress is perfect for any toddler or child! It’s super thin so you don’t have to worry about them falling. Opening the packaging did not have a distinctive smell which was very nice. This is the bed immediately out of the box so we will see what it looks like as it’s had time to expand. One of the three mattresses appears to have springs that are misaligned, causing a ridge in the mattress. Also right near this spot in the mattress, their is little support. I assume due to the spring issue. I have contacted customer support and fingers crossed it can be remedied without hassle. But despite, this hiccup the all three mattresses arrived packaged well. I bought this bed for my son who needed a new mattress. It is a standard twin mattress that needed a bit of time to fully fill out following it coming out of the package. It is not hard or soft but somewhere in between. We ended up purchasing an additional foam topper just to make it a bit softer but it was fine without it too.
