Two things... I have enjoyed working/playing with magnets since childhood... so... if I did not have grandchildren to do things with and talk about magnetic properties... make designs... attempt to overcome the polarity... I would have fun with this myself. That said... it is a great and fun way to play and learn with the grandchildren. I recommend it. ... show more

I bought it as part of his Easter gift. He’s ADHD and is fascinated by magnets. It was shipped promptly, excellent price and I have played with it. Very entertaining and I know he’ll enjoy it.

    • Not What Was Hoped!
My daughter used her own hard earned money to pay for this because she was hoping it would allow her to "sculpt" things using these marbles. However, it is impossible to do just that, even though they are advertised as "sculpture". Each marble isn't magnetized, only the base which then makes it so that each marble isn't at all predictable about what it will do when it is combined with the other marbles. I even played with it for a few minutes and it is impossible to "sculpt" anything at all!!!! Not worth it! ... show more

The magnetic toy was delivered on last Thursday when I returned home from work my 2 kids already opened the package and play with it happily. Very nice quality beads and magnetic block. Shipping was fast, too.

This is a nice little addition to your desk, if you enjoy keeping your hands busy while thinking or just while reading. The magnet is strong so pieces won't fall off.
