Ever since I started customizing and working more on my art, I have been looking for an airbrush to add to my tool kit. Since I’ve never owned an airbrush, I wanted one that wasn’t too expensive, looked nice, came with a compressor, and was beginner-friendly. After comparing a few options, I selected this one. I was really impressed with how the item came neatly packaged in a sturdy white box. There were a ton of accessories in the package, and the compressor looked super sleek. I liked how the packaging doubled as storage. Now, to actually test this item. First and foremost, before using the airbrush, I would recommend tightening some of the components that may have loosened during shipping. The Amazon page had a lot of directions that I found useful, but if you have any questions, the seller was also equally helpful. After mixing up my paint, and pouring it into the cup, I was ready to paint! The trigger needs to be held down in order for it to spray; however, if you want to spray a thinner line, you will need to slide back the trigger but make sure you’re also holding it down - otherwise, the paint won’t spray out. Once you’re done painting, I made sure to thoroughly clean out the airbrush. I filled up the cup with water and gave it a few sprays: I noticed some paint inside the airbrush loosened up, so it’s super important to not neglect this step! Then I took it apart and used cotton swabs to wipe away the extra paint around the needle and inside the tip guard. I’m very happy with this purchase! I've been wanting to get an airbrush for a long time but was always intimidating until I found this one and decided to try! At it's price point, it's everything I wanted. Affordable, compact and portable. Easy to put together and has everything to get started right away. I paint miniatures so I tested it out with a primer coat. There's three levels of adjustment for pressure that you can toggle through. Primer came out smooth and control was easy to maneuver. I highly recommend as a beginner airbrush kit! ... show more

    • Poor excuse for a portable air brush
First, the air brush gun is incompatible (I had to use painters tape to make it stick). Air brush kit did not come with instructions to assemble the item. Second, air brush flow hardly shoots out acrylic paint (yes, I used enough thinner too). Very disappointed and a waste of my money. I don’t recommend. ... show more

    • Does a good job if you are patient and control the paint
Lets start with why it is a four and not a five... it is really just because the instructions are not good at all. Granted, you can figure things out by looking at pictures of airbrush kits so it is not too bad, but it should come with better instructions. But once you have it put together and everything tightened up, it works well. This is a beginner level system and is designed for detail work. It is fine for airbrushing an t-shirt, a design or logo onto something, or even a decorative picture. I would not use it for a large canvas or something where you have to create a base color over a large area. On the other hand, I used it to paint some miniatures and some fairy houses and small gnomes for my granddaughter. It worked really well for that as long as you take your time. I found that I had to take my time and put multiple coats of color over an area to get the coverage I wanted, but that was not a big issue and if you let a little bit of air out before and after spraying paint then it tends to dry it while you are working. The system works well and is not too noisy, actually a little quieter than I expected, for a compressor. It handled paint of different consistencies, although they all had to be thinned to work with the airbrush. After just a little experimenting I soon learned how to get the effects that I wanted. The handle allows good control over how much paint is applied to your subject. It does everything from a fairly wide swath to a very fine line by controlling the amount of paint that is fed into the air stream. You press down to send air through and then slowly pull it back slowly to release the right amount for what you are doing. Cleanup was easy enough and I found lots of instructions and videos online after searching for airbrush for beginners. I love this little airbrush! Since I’m new to using an airbrush, I wanted something that had everything that I needed to get started. This one checked all the boxes. It comes with the airbrush, some cleaning supplies, and a compressor. I really like how small and cute the compressor is on this one. I tested it out with some paint and it works perfectly! Terrible product. Doesn’t work. Paint doesn’t go through the airbrush. Just air. No pigment at all. Couldn’t get a replacement either
