This mirror comes with three different light settings so that you can adjust it to whatever brightness you need, and the brightness never dulls no matter how long you use it! I have had this mirror going on three years now and I have never had a problem with the brightness becoming dull! Actually, I haven't had a problem with this product period! I really liked that it's small enough to take any where, but sill fit my whole face in the mirror, but also big enough that I can still lean in to do any small details to my face that I need to! I purchased this product so that I could do my make up any time of day, but when I turned on the light, it literally made me look like a zombie. It is the most unflattering lighting I have ever seen. I am in my 20s and it made me look like the life was drained out of me. I could never do any accurate makeup in that lighting. The front of the mirror looks as described but the back is just a piece of flimsy cardboard, which is ridiculous for how much the mirror cost.
