  • just got lens today
It came in on schedule and seems to work just fine. I mounted it on the camera and tried to take pictures. Indoors with no flash I got decent light in the test photos with the ISO set way up around 26,000. One problem, the adapter to fit this camera to my D5600 did not lock on to the camera properly. There is a little indent on the mating surface which was a few CM out of place. I found the problem and used a pocket knife to remove some material from the adapter to make the adjustment. The adapter is aluminum so a good sharp pocket knife will cut it. My main reason for this lens is to get pictures' of Mt. Lassen and Shasta from our home. I think it will work fine but the jury is still out on that. I gave the overall rating of 4, partly because the adapter was faulty but mor importantly because I have not had time to fully evaluate the lens. ... show more

  • Manual focus, thin tube, images are average
Bought this lens to try out telephoto zoom lens. It’s manual focus only which requires changing a few settings on your camera before getting started to ensure your pictures will show (otherwise you’ll have a black or white picture after it’s taken). I took a picture of a truck parked in front of my house from my driveway and one from the driveway to the walkway of my home (about half distance from the truck). The picture wasn’t as clear as my other lenses; the top left hand corner of any image is a little blurry while the rest is in focus. However, for being such a short distance away, I would assume more detail. My Tamron macro lens which is 70mm-300mm produces better images so I ended up returning this one. Other notable mentions, there is a locking ring on the lens but it doesn’t actually lock the telescoping slide. The tube is thinner than a standard lens as well. Works pretty well as a monocular though. ... show more

  • Definitely recommend for the price!
A manual lens that's a little tricky to use but once you get used to it works wonders definitely recommend you try.

  • Nice Lens
Perfect weight and balance for my needs, however, it would not, (and the description stated it would) talk to my camera body. So I had to return it.

  • False information
I was description it states that the lens is universal and fit multiple cameras my camera a Nikon d3500 was one of those cameras on that list when I connected the lens to my camera the camera read that there was no lens connected Iteam rerurned

  • YOU will not regret this buy
You must need to know how to zoom in and out and focus manually, if you are ok with that this lense is awesome

  • Couldnt get it to focus
Could not get manual focus to provide any kind of a picture. It's as if the tube simply wasn't long enough. No amount of online instructions worked.

  • My Nikon D3500 does not recognize
My camera won’t recognize it as an attached lens, so it’s totally worthless. It won’t even take a picture.
