I liked the lamp and it looks nice assembled. I chose to put in colored wifi bulbs in it, but I'm sure any bulbs will do. The only complaint I have is that the dram is a bit wobbly and it leans a little to the side after it's been assembled. But other than that no problems. I recommend it!

I purchased these lamps because I love the look of them. Although the shade or literally made of paper I love how they bring out my living room. Just wish the shades were a little more sturdy.

Cheap and easy to assemble. That's the only good thing I guess. The bottom part/stand is weird. It has this heavy plastic thing that smells bad and looks dirty. It is not tall which is why I purchased it. I placed it on top of a table on a corner (more light since it has 2 bulbs). The paper quality of the shade seem to be thicker than the one from the ikea store (similar look/style). It feels and looks cheap. you get what you pay for. But I'm keeping it because from afar, it doesn't look too bad. Will keep this until we install overhead can lights in the living room. ... show more

Read the other reviews before purchasing. I got this to replace a rice paper lamp I have had for over a decade that was showing severe wear. This looked like a good option. It provides good lighting, but beware it is smaller than it appears and nowhere near as sturdy as it looks. For me, it does the job I need it to do in my home office where it doesn't get jostled much, but your mileage may vary in more high traffic areas. I'm not unhappy with it for my purposes, but I'm not particularly happy with it either. ... show more

There are spots for two bulbs. However; I am only using one at the bottom. We bought two and are using them as bedside lamps. Using one bulb at the bottom in our room gives the room a soft lighting that I find perfect for our intended use. The shade i received is 8"x 8", not 10"x 10" as the description states. Outside of my return window or it would be going back as it's too small for the space I wanted to use it. Assembly was pretty straightforward, but I haven't added bulbs or turned it in so not sure about the safety aspect, especially with the paper shade being 2inches narrower than it's supposed to be. ... show more
