Fitment and flexibity are a plus. Also very rigid and sturdy. The problem is vibration. I mounted these on a dirtbike to hold a light bar. After the first ride, all the screws and vibrated loose. Once I used lock tight, I no longer had problems. Easy fix. Redesign the mount to have lock nuts at the end. This will make this product (and others like it) a 5/5. I give it 4/5 since you need lock tight to fight against vibration! ... show more

    • Two different sizes & no shims
Size: 1.75 inch
I didn't notice the two different sized clamps until I was mounting them. Ordered 1.75 clamps and the first one fit perfectly. Moved on to the second clamp and the center bolt required a larger allen wrench. Hmm, no big deal right? Snapped on the retention ring, things seemed okay until, the ring was tight on the block and I could still move the mounting bracket. Bummer, I was almost finished with my project. So, rather than take everything apart and return the package, I wrapped the roll bar with electrical tape because no shims came in my package either. Recmounted the bracket, done. Can hardly even see the black tape but, I didn't get what the add advertised. ... show more

    • Just what I was looking for to add extra lights on my motorcycle...

I bought a new motorcycle about 8 months ago and shortly after I also bought a set of extra driving lights for the bike. The problem that I now had was finding some way to attach the new lights to my bike. This mounting bracket solved my problems... Now I can attach my lights to my forks and adjust the direction that the light shines down the road. I can also adjust the height of the lights off the road to make visibility much better for me especially on dark nights. Plus hopefully people will be able to see me better... This is just what I was looking for to add extra lights on my motorcycle... The mounting bracket is made out of metal and includes a ring that goes around your forks (make sure to get the right size for your forks) and includes rubber pads to keep the ring from scratching your forks. Once you decide on how high (or low) to attach the bracket to your forks, you just need to tighten the bolt to hold the bracket to your forks. Then you have to decide which hole to attach your lights to on the bracket and then decide which angle to adjust your lights to. Then you just need to tighten down the bolts and you're done. In all honesty I like these brackets so much that I'm thinking about buying another set for additional lights. If you're looking for some way to attach extra lights to your bike, you won't go wrong getting these brackets. They're well made and designed and come with everything that you'll need to attach you lights on your bike... Thanks and ride safe... Joe... ... show more

You've got to make you own "shims" to get a snug fit on everything I've tried. After some "finagling" these seem like they work for auxiliary light brackets for my dirt bike. Seem sturdy enough, but difficult to tell how tough they are. Worth a try though and these brackets may be adjusted to just about any angle needed. ... show more

These clamps seems fairly sturdy for the price. It was a fairly easy installation, the only problem I have is that I ordered the bracket too large for my rollover bar. I should have ordered the smaller one instead of the 1" that I ordered. I was still able to use it. I just had to add more rubber to fill in the gap in order for it to be stable enough to hold the light bar. We drove the UTV around our property and the light bar held up great even with all the bumps. ... show more
