We purchase 2 of this recliners, is not that easy to put together for 2 seniors but thanks be to God a good Neighbor came and help us, well we been using them but after maybe 3 weeks I first noticed that I had a pain from my mid back on the left side all the way to my leg, and the pain got more and more I couldn’t sleep because of the pain got worse then I started limping, I call my doctor to get an appointment all she asked what’s different in my life and all I have bought that was new was those 2 chairs, well we both stop sitting on them and sat on the couch that is in the same room, we got up in the morning and I had pain but not as bad, my husband is a Vietnam Veteran and got hurt, but he said you know my back is not hurting as bad, that tells me o though he has pain always but we DIDNT realize that does chairs are not Ergonomic that happen when the design of the furniture is not made right is not made effective for people to use, I call Amazon and it said through a chat I tried to speak to someone they asked me for my phone number, it said they will call me in ten minutes after 4 hrs till now no one call, that’s why I chad and in seconds all they said is that I can’t return it, I never got paperwork from the company that they said if anything goes wrong that’s who I needed to talk and what about a Waranty, really we paid $409 dollars each $818.00 plus’s taxes ok we used them for 3 to 4 wks because we have sat on them since Monday 7/17/23 my pain is much better but I still limp, PLEASE DO NOT BUY THOSE CHAIRS THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL BUT THE PAIN THAT I WENT THROUGH IS NOT WORTH IT, and HOW WE KNOW THAT ALL THOSE OTHERS RECLINERS ARE ALSO ERGONOMIC MADE, We have purchased a lot from Amazon and we like them, but we need to think what we will buy now. ... show more

Bought this for my dad as he was battling cancer.. he only used it twice before he passed away.. I am paraplegic so the chair supposed to be perfect for me.. so here are the pros and cons... as well as I can put them. Pros: Wife like a more expensive chair Heat works great Massage is adaptable Has a smooth lift function Has a built in USB port Massage and heat remote separate Dual cup holders are great Dual pockets on side for remotes or magazines Cons: Not well constructed whatever wood used cracks and breaks... Padding is very thin, you can feel all the massage pads Can not sit for very long due to thin padding Does not recline back very far.. Bulky like most full size chairs... You can not use the arms to support your weight or support you standing... the wood cracks and the wood breaks.. Heat is only in the lumbar section so it is like using a heating pad.. As you recline the chair snaps and cracks It is difficult to tuck cords away Constantly unplugs itself due to the cord situation Not very strong for a chair that is supposed to help those with health issues.. Tried to be as honest both ways as I can... but have only had this chair a few months and sad that I have to replace it already... Hopefully this helps someone.. maybe I got a fluke chair... hope this is not the norm... ... show more

The chair is OK. I like the mechanism, the heat and vibrate functions, and the price. It's a bit small though. I'm 6' tall and there's no way to rest my head on the back, even with an additional pillow. If you're 5'6 or less, you'll love it.
