I have foot drop. Meaning my foot just hangs down. I cannot control it. This causes shoe shopping a pain in the butt and online shopping HELL. I have only been able to find boots that have a slight heel and look nice once. I took a shot with these. I was incredibly worried about it with the price. This is money well spent. I love how they look. They support my foot well and are beautiful. They are a little tight but that is because I need to wear them and stretch them to fit me. They are so comfortable and look amazing I don't want to take them off. The only problem is I need a black pair now. The same height, width, size, everything. Thank you for the amazing product. I really like the style of these boots and I thought they were very cute. I’ve worn them with both jeans and a casual dress and I thought they looked nice with both. They fit as expected length wise and are a little on the wider side which was great. It doesn’t rub on the back of my ankles either! I took off a star because they are not nearly as comfortable as I was hoping they would be. The insole is harder than I was expecting and there really doesn’t feel like there is any padding in it. From my wife...Attractive, comfortable foot bed though could use more arch support, good height. A bit of work to get on, even with the side zipper. But the big problem is that there is reinforcement in the toe area....after wearing for a couple of hours, shopping both my big toes started to really hurt. Looked at my feet when I got home and there was a redness on the inside of each toe. After examining, I realized the toe area had no give due to some hard reinforcement. My big toes no longer curve inward at all as I wear pumps so seldom now. Have worn too long to return, will either donate or give to my daughter. ... show more

I like these booties, they’re comfortable to wear except for the minor issue of how the zipper hits my ankle bone on one side…it’s an anatomy issue, not a shoe issue. LifeStride shoes have always been a good fit for my feet, these are no exception. They’re also not too high heeled, so very comfy

When I first tried these on I felt I’d made a horrible mistake. They were difficult to get on and the insole felt like concrete. This can not be good for my already painful arches and low back pain. I immediately took them off and debated sending them back. Then I decided to try to actually wear them the next day. As soon as I put them on I thought there was no way I’d make it through the work day. It did take some serious effort to get my feet into these boots. The first thing I noticed when walking was the opening at the top of the shoe was rubbing the front of my ankle. Off to work I went, suffering needlessly, I was sure. Within 30 minutes of wearing these boots, I realized the front of my ankle was no longer being rubbed. I was no longer walking on a bed of concrete. Wait…these boots are actually incredibly comfortable! I made it through an entire work day on my feet, walking at a rapid pace all over the place. My feet never hurt. My back never hurt. They still aren’t “just slide your feet in” easy to get on, but they also aren’t as bad as trying to squeeze into a pair of jeans that are 2 sizes too small. Nor are they as difficult as I remember them being this morning. I actually love the narrow opening because the ankle of the boots don’t gape around my small ankles. My overall opinion, for my fellow small ankle/ leg friends, is to give these boots a try. I just knew I’d made a mistake, but now I am 100% all about the boots. ... show more

I normally wear Clark’s shoes and as I was shopping for an ankle boot, I ordered a couple Clark’s as well as these, LifeStride. The Clark’s ended up squishing my toes. Needless to say, I returned my Clark’s and kept these as these are surprisingly comfortable. I bought them to wear with my dresses at church for the winter and I can wear them all day and not have any discomfort. I should buy some more in this brand in other colors. ... show more

These are wonderful! I wore them for the first time on Thanksgiving day. I took my "comfy" shoes with me, just in case these boots were uncomfortable. I never thought about them again after I arrived, unless someone complimented me. Everyone seemed to like them very much and were surprised that I had gotten them at Amazon, because all of my sisters and me have very narrow feet [my feet are considered "fat" in my family and I wear a 9 Narrow--they wear 4 or 5 A's with 5A heels--read special order shoes!] At any rate, I have worn them again and just love them. These boots are ankle boots with a zipper, which makes it easy to get in and out of. The heel is a comfortable height for me--I had to stop wearing high heels, so these are a good height. I would recommend them to everyone. Very pleased with this purchase and would purchase them again, if they came in another color. ... show more

I bought a 7.5 W and they are a little hard to get in and out of, I am hoping in time they will loosen up. Otherwise, the rest of the foot is very comfortable.
