I wanted to wait for after my return from deployment to give a review to this case and let me tell you it’s worth it for a deployment. I was subject to dust storms and lots of rain and this thing was able to hold up pretty good. Two things that happened though (pictures attached) is one, the case bulges a bit on the back because of the magnets or whatever it has for wireless charging. The heat I was exposed to was above 100 F so I’m sure that had much to do. Second, it is the screen that protects the cameras. I attached a picture of how it looks after six months of heavy wear and tear. This happened around my third month and if you can see it, it’s pretty scratched and worn out which it definitely affects the pictures you take, and pictures at night are even worst. If you’ve had a Lifeproof before then this is the same quality, durable case you know to expect. There is a reason they’re more expensive. If you’re buying a $1000 phone logically it just makes sense to spend a little more for a quality case to protect that investment. This is my third Lifeproof so that should say something. The last case I had I abused the crap out of it and after a year+ it started coming apart. I sent Lifeproof an email just basically bragging on their cases and saying “look at this poor case; I got my money’s worth out of it” not asking for a new one or expecting one I was honestly just telling them they make an awesome product. Unbeknownst to me they dropped me a new one in the mail and it just showed up one day. Without me asking they just sent me a new case. Idk who does customer service like that anymore, but these folks are serious about taking care of their customers. If you’re going to spend the extra $ on something in hopes of getting a better quality product this is one thing to do it on. This is a decent case. It ought to be for the price. The fit is spot on. The screen is responsive and easy to see through the protective plastic front. The protective cover over the cameras can cause some flaring in some photos and the night shots don't seem as crisp. It's a trade-off. The buttons are a little stiffer than I'd like but they are functional. Also, the rocker for the mute switch works perfectly. The Magsafe works flawlessly and the strength is good. It stays on my car mount even over some nastier bumps. Overall, a very nice case. I bought the black one, though I do like the blue. Hope this helps! ... show more

Seems to be very protective on my phone, but the plastic covering the phones camera has marks and scratches and smudges that won’t clean, so all your pictures aren’t clear, and you have to take the case off to take pictures. Bought at the end of July so lasted almost two months. Updated this to one star because the o ring broke inside of it and now it’s not waterproof. Very poor quality case. I was expecting a lot more for the high price of this case. Update again, dropped my phone and the case has a crack now. Nothing but negatives for this over priced case… buy the cheaper ones. That way if they mess up you aren’t out 70 dollars, and plus they are more durable. ... show more

By far the best iPhone case. My ONLY complaint is the hinge for the lightning port cover is pretty fragile. I recommend not bending it back all the way. I’ve tried other cases but found myself back to this case. It’s slim, offers great protection, and it has grippy texture where it needs it. I have had life proof cases for the last 10 years. Since otterbox has bought them I can’t justify buying another. Just to use most of the basic phone features The case had to be mostly dismantled. The camera cover would fog and leave blurry pictures. Popped it out. Little bit of humidity and Face ID doesn’t work. Popped out the main screen protector. Microphone doesn’t work on speaker phone, and spotty on regular calls. Popped the speaker covers out as well. If it wasn’t passed the return window I would order something different since all that’s left is drop protection now. ... show more

I'm very active and have always used lifeproof fre cases as they are completely waterproof and can take a beating. Well, this one was disappointing from the start. The screen protector has little dots built into it. It also makes it really hard for my iPhone 13 pro to read my face and unlock. Whatever this new material is for the screen loves smudges and does not easily wipe clean. I've had the case 5 months and the screen protector is falling apart. So now it's not even waterproof. The case scratches fairly easily. The rear camera cover makes it hard for the camera to track properly. I don't know what happened when otter box took over fre but it wasn't good. As expensive as these are, I expected the same quality of the last one. By the way, their warranty sucks! Unless you bought it directly from them. You have to go through the store you bought it at. (Amazon what can you do about this case sucking?) Your much better off buying a different brand. I bought a spigen case for my wife and some glass screen and camera protectors and her's is way happier than mine at less than a 1/3 of the cost. Run away. ... show more
