Ordered the 4 1/2 ft. tree early (October) before it's sold out. Assembled it the same day it arrived to see how it would look. Goes together like a snap. After fluffing the many branches with the gloves provided, it looks very full and lovely. Also, it has plenty of lights in my opinion. On the downside, the needles on the branches are not what I expected from looking very closely to the photos. They're that cheap, flimsy cellophane-like maternal, hence 4 stars instead of 5. Never the less, the branch wires will hold ornaments just fine. This tree will be perfect on a table top in our foyer, closer to the holidays. Overall, I'm pleased. ... show more

This review is for the 10 foot tree. Purchased and installed about 2 days ago. Let me start by saying that this is my first artificial tree. I looked online a lot for a pre lit artificial tree. I didn’t want to spend 800-1000$ Because I wasn’t sure if I would want to completely say goodbye to purchasing a real tree...but still wanted something nice and that looked real. We have very tall ceilings 11+ feet, so it was important to me that the tree be large and look as authentic as possible. The pros: 1. The tree is very large 2. The berries and pine cones are a nice bonus that allows you to use less decorations. Because we always had real trees from previous years. They averaged 8 ft in height. The 2 extra feet make a huge difference and while mounting it I thought for sure we would have to buy more ornaments, but our ornaments worked great, and the colors worked well with the berries and pine cones. 3. The shape is nice. 4. Less hassle and no watering because it’s a fake tree. 5. Comes with tree stand 6. Putting it together is relatively easy to figure out with 4 parts labeled A, B, C & D. Cons: 1. The tree in the photo looks more similar to an authentic tree than this one does in real life 2. The top of the tree we got does not have a long tree top like In the promo photo 3. Quite a few lights did not work from the start. See photo of the bottom of the tree. Tried to replace with replacement bulbs, but even the replacements didn’t work. after spending so much time mounting the tree, I can’t be bothered to return it because I don’t want to wait for another week to receive a tree and for my house not to have a tree during the better part of the holiday season. 4. The tree looks like an artificial tree. If you are looking for something that looks real, I am afraid this is not the tree. It’s ok, and I guess for $420 for 10 ft tree, it was a pretty good deal in comparison to other prices I have seen, but I guess I still expected it to look more authentic. 5. It takes a good 1.5-2 hours to mount and “fluff” and takes at least 2 people ( but this is also true for real trees). Overall I will say that when decorated, the tree looks much better. I am not sure how long the lights will last given that already quite a few do not work...I am hoping this tree will last a long time and that we will be able to use it at least for the next 5 years... although I only gave 3 stars, if you don’t mind an artificial looking tree and want a large tree for less than $500, then this one is decent. I like the fact that I don’t have to water it, but I do miss the smell. Jury it still out on weather we will give up on getting a real tree in the future... ... show more

EDITED TO ADD: I arranged the base to better suit me. As my original review stated, I wasn't especially happy with the look of the base/stem. What I ended up doing was unwrap the burlap, add some soft fill, reattach the burlap higher to the branches and then set it in an inexpensive plastic pot that I had spray painted black earlier this summer. Another small tweak I made was to add some greenery to the inside at the lower branches so that the tree was more dense and less "see through." These adjustments cost me nothing as I used items I already had in the house and they were easy. I'm very pleased with the outcome and have attached new photos. For the money, this is a nice looking 4 ft tree. Better than I've seen in stores at nearly twice the price. I like the berries and pinecones - they are good sized and are on every branch. I did not notice an excessive amount of shedding of needles when setting up and fluffing. The size is good for my purposes although the diameter is about six inches less than advertised (24 inches vs 30 inches). There are some dark spots. I have not yet turned the tree to see if that could be hidden. I would have liked less "stem" showing at the base. It's really a 3 ft tall tree with a 4 inch base and 8 inch stem. I'll likely buy a pot or basket to set the tree in to camouflage the stem. Its sturdy enough for our house but I'll need to keep the grandkids away. A heavy pot could help. The tree is completely bare inside. I don't know how I feel about that. You can definitely see through the tree (before adding decorations). There is one lower branch that sags. It feels like it's not attached. It's not a deal breaker as I can come up with a workaround. And lastly, the box it was shipped in was very small. Too small, really. The tree was crushed inside which probably was the cause of the broken branch. I'll use a larger box or tote, or may even try to keep it intact during storage. ... show more

As you can maybe tell this is my first fake Christmas tree. It comes squished into a fairly small box. Expect to spends hours spreading the branches apart. We added a couple dozen bulbs and got a fair representation of a Christmas tree. Note that the bottom stand is rather tall so there is a large section of bare area under the tree. We used a 48" skirt which fit well. There is no provision for attaching an angle or star to the top. So bend a branch up there and use some twist or zip ties. We did like that there was no mess from lost needles, no watering, and no live tree fire danger. We will find a bigger box to store it in. This should reduce set up time next year, All in all we were pretty happy with the tree. Happy Holidays! ... show more
