I guess I was a few days too late to return it, but it didn’t happen until yesterday. The glue came off of the guitar and it split open. First off, this is not a real guitar, so do not expect anything sounding like a real guitar. It is lightweight and does not sound like a real thing. However, it looks really, really good. It's appearance is very impressive for what it is and the price. It has great coloring, shine and overall looks like a real guitar, albeit much smaller. You can tune the strings fairly easily by turning the knobs and it does change the sound of the strings. I am not a musician so I am not able to tune it properly, but I know enough about music to know you could probably get it close if you had a music ear. With that said, it likely will not hold the tune very long. But hey, its for kids and its a toy. If you want a real guitar, this is not the one. This is a toy and a great looking one at that. I haven't tried it, but I would think you could outfit it with real guitar strings and you may be able to get some decent sound. Maybe a good DIY project for a guitarist who knows what they're doing. Anyway, our 4yr old son enjoys it and we've had a few jam sessions with his toy drums. ... show more

I didn’t even realize you can actually tune this thing (the “working” tune turning things are at the back of the neck of the guitar) the tuning things on the sides as a guitar are decorative! Such a genius design imo! Anyways we love this thing! It’s like a real mini guitar! So cute!

I thought I was buying a guitar that was more like a real guitar only smaller for my granddaughter. It has metal strings but is otherwise cheap. The biggest problem I saw was that the strings don't stay tight. It was inexpensive, but still a waste of money.
