  • Great temps and easy to build
Color: Silver Style: Computer Case
I swapped all my parts from the pictured NZXT H210, and the build process was simple and stress free. I was starting to grow out of my old case, as I wanted something less obtrusive to take advantage of what ITX can really do. Since I didn't get custom cables, the stock PSU cables were quite rigid but luckily all the panels on the entire case are removable (and believe me, you're gonna have to remove them all). What really drew me to this case in particular is the price compared to the much more expensive FormD T1 and even the regular A4-SFX. But beyond that, I mainly liked how this case is simple without any obstructive lights or branding. This case is beautiful just by the fact that it doesn't draw attention to itself, which goes an extra step further since none of my components inside it have any RGB either. Now for the part that really blew me away was the temps. This shouldn't be surprising because the NZXT H210 is notorious for being an oven, but somehow I was expecting such a small case like this one to run hot as well. GPU temps dropped by more than 10 degrees across the board. Full load previously was 84C but has been reduced to 72C now. For my normal usage (60-75%) the GPU stays around 64C. Compared to the H210, the noise level is much quieter and the GPU is no longer screaming for its life. Another thing I like is how the GPU is on the right side of the case. Most other sandwich layouts I've seen have it on the left, but since I put my PC on the right of my desk this means the loudest part will be facing away from me. Overall, a great experience as a first time builder in a case this small. Lian Li has proven to be extremely high quality especially for this price point, and I like having the option to go liquid cooling later down the line next time I upgrade my PC again. I'm glad to be a member of the SFF PC community now with this case. Edit: Took off 1 star due to riser cable issues. Got a new GPU today, found out that it wouldn't work properly unless I set the PCIe setting to 3.0 despite the case saying it supports 4.0. Not that big of a deal since realistically it makes no difference while gaming, but it is a bit misleading in this scenario. ... show more

  • as far as "niche", smaller form factor cases go, this is a great and easy case to build in
Color: Silver Style: Computer Case
despite its small form, this is fairly easy to build in if you have experience building other in other cases. as far as parts go, you don't need other extra fans unless, of course, you want to mod certain things. in my case, i added a small noctua 4x10 fan on a 3d printed mount in order to achieve cooler nvme temps as it was getting pretty toasty in there. other than that, all my temps are fairly good. i'm currently running a i5-13600KF and a 3080 FE. cpu idles around 34-37 C and gpu idles even lower. during games, the cpu and gpu stay under 65 C. i have undervolted (and overclocked my cpu) my gpu to achieve better temps and lower energy usage for the same if not better performance. if you're looking for a more consumer friendly sff case, look no further (but make sure your parts are compatible as always!!) ... show more

  • 11-Liter SFF Hall of Famer
Color: Black Style: Computer Case
This case is absolutely amazing, punching well above its weight class. Let's start off with what I have inside mine -- an i7 12700K and am RTX 3090 TUF, powered by a Cooler Master V850 SFX PSU. Man, does this case make it happen. The H2O is able to handle this kind of power because the CPU is liquid-cooled, and the GPU sits on the other side of this sandwich style case. The case itself is rock solid, utilizing a near tool-less snap-together design and plenty of ventilation for its size. It is larger than the previous model (Dan A4 SFX), due to the intention of this being water-cooled. I opted for an MSI CoreLiquid 240R ARGB V2, since the water block is small and offers ARGB. It tames the temps well on my 12700K. You'll need to make sure your AIO will fit in this case, as there are many that won't -- either because the pump/water block is too tall or because the hoses are too thick. You'll also want something that has hoses on swivel elbows. Otherwise, routing the hoses and closing this case will be next to impossible. This was hands-down the hardest aspect of building in this case -- managing the AIO hoses. The A4-H2O gets a lot right. You can cool some higher end CPUs, use a full length GPU, and a semi-pleasant building experience. To top it off, it looks amazing, and the parts are high quality. Just keep your hands off the case, as the finish shows off fingerprints well. This case is an excellent competitor for the NR200, because it's 8 liters smaller, and has nearly all-metal construction. To me this one is the obvious choice. Also in this form factor I would avoid i9 CPUs entirely. They eat up too much power, and make too much heat. My experience with this case has been fantastic, but it did leave me wanting more. Having a liquid-cooled, 11.24-liter PC means it's going to be a tad heavy. It's also too big to fit into my DSLR camera bag. I also think this case's width dimension would be a tight fit in a carry on-size tough case like one from Pelican. If you need a small form factor PC for saving desk space, this is an excellent option. That's the niche this serves for me, and it delivers. Maybe you can make this a portable powerhouse for more than gaming. Its too big and heavy for me. Personally, I've found my 8.1-liter KXRORS S300 case to be a better road warrior, because it fits in my DSLR bag and weighs less. Sure, that one can't be as powerful, but it games very well, albeit a little louder. ... show more

  • Excelente calidad
Color: Black Style: Computer Case
