Features

  • Airflow focused: Designed for maximum airflow and suitable for both air and liquid cooling. The front and top panels feature fine mesh that permits ample air to flow into and out of the case. Furthermore, the front dual 160mm fans are designed for maximum airflow with little noise. They can produce an astounding 118.85CFM of airflow with a static pressure of 3.10mmH2O.
  • Highly adjustable: There are plenty of ways to adjust the chassis to your needs. You can set up your motherboard configuration to Air-Cooling Mode or Water-Cooling Mode, providing flexibility for your PCs thermal needs.
  • Great hardware compatibility: LANCOOL 216 supports up to 360mm radiator on top and bottom, ATX motherboard, GPU up to 392mm in length, and up to ten 120mm fans.
  • Cable management friendly: Behind the motherboard tray are three Velcro straps situated next to the rubber pass-through grommets. This is perfect for bundling up multiple cables into a single run. In addition, a further two Velcro straps reside above the PSU chamber, ideal for holding excess cables away from the power supply ventilation.
  • Beginner friendly: On top of its hardware compatibility, LANCOOL 216's removeable top radiator bracket, relocatable front IO/O module, and rotatable PCIe expansion slot panel make it extremely easy to build in and customize.

  • The best case for its price
Style: 216 Black RGB
The media could not be loaded. Lian Li Lancool 216 is truly one of the best cases for its price. The cooling is top-notch, it looks stylish, and it's a pleasure to assemble in it. Spacious, well-thought-out, with excellent ventilation - ideal for both air and water cooling. I also bought a rear fan with RGB lighting to make everything look even cooler - and I was right, now the assembly looks just awesome. If you need a case with an excellent price/quality ratio - this is it! ... show more

  • The perfect pc case (w/ room for improvements)
Style: Lancool 207 Black
This is an amazing case. 1. Airflow is just perfect, at most you'll need 3 additional fans for exhaust, no need for to buy extra intake fans. 2. RGB looks good and can be disabled if wanted for stealth look. 3. It has built in GPU Support bracket to avoid sag. 4. Opening/Closing is really well design, building a pc is a delight as well as changing components. 5. Front USB-C is a nice detail. 6. Enough space for large gpu and cpu cooling 7. The best case on it's price range. Cons: 1. Due to the placement of the PSU, you might need a modular power supply. 2. Manually switching the PSU requires screwing (fortunately it's a easy screw by hand). 3. Cable management could be difficult on complex builds (RGA controllers, etc). For simple builds this is not a real issue imo. 4. Power supply air intake could have a bit more room. 5. Graphics card intake doesn't have a filter, could led to pet hair / more dust getting into the system. (easily fixable by using a DIY PC Case Dust Mesh Filter). ... show more

  • Great computer case
Style: 216 Black RGB
This Lian LI 216 E-ATX PC turned out to be an excellent choice. The case has a nice style. It's easy to assemble a PC using this case. Cables and wires are well routed and hidden for the most part. Nothing weird or difficult about its construction. Plenty of nice, large, illuminated slow speed and quiet cooling fans. Mainboard installation was easy. It handled the install of an all-in-one CPU liquid cooling unit just fine. Lots of room for the RTX3080 GPU card. Overall, I am very pleased with this case. ... show more

  • Affordable - Great Air Cooling - Unique - Easy To Build
Style: 216 Black RGB (with RGB fan controller)
Picked this case up after watching several very positive reviews on the interwebs. I was originally torn between this case and the Be Quiet Pure Base 500DX as I wanted a good air cooling case that minimized noise and looked good. I have not been disappointed - this case does everything pretty well. It looks good, the included fans are both unique and very efficient (for large fans they actually make use of the full front opening, unlike those even larger fans where the case frame blocks 1/4 of the blade surface area) and it is very easy to build in with nice cable management features. While not the biggest disco RGB guy, I did get the RGB version for a bit of flash and the included RGB controller with 2 additional USB 3 ports was preinstalled and wired up from the factory which lights up the 2 large front fans (the rear 140mm exhaust fan is not lighted). The included fan hub (rgb version only) located in the back side is simple but does the job, providing expansion for 2 additional fans if you'd like (personally, I connect most of my fans directly to the mobo and don't use hubs much). The rgb effects are basic but do provide for separate fan blade and ring adjustments - they look good to me. The case offers a nearly infinite combination of cooling arrangements using both air and/or water, with a unique motherboard positioning option that can lower the mobo down about 1.5" to provide additional room for radiators up top. Speaking of which, the removable top frame makes system building and fan installation very easy and should be a standard feature of any modern pc case these days. An included "shield plate" can be installed to block off the front top opening, preventing air from bypassing areas you want cooled. The rear 140mm exhaust fan is larger than the typical 120mm used in most cases, which produces less noise. Fans can also be mounted on the bottom psu shelf to pull in cool air through the side mesh panel for the GPU. There are MANY more features this case provides - I suggest you check out some reviews from Gamer's Nexus etc who have rated this case highly across the board. Keep in mind these reviews account only for the fans included with the case - I noted the GN review showed middling GPU cooling for this case, but having installed one single 120mm fan at the bottom center position (directed upwards to the GPU) that my RTX 3070 never broke 68'C in benchmark tests. Likewise, my Noctua U12A air cooler kept my 13600K cpu at 80'C running Cinebench R23 - excellent results for an air cooled system. All this while running virtually silent thanks to the large fans that can spin at lower rpms. In conclusion, I'd recommend this case to anyone building an air cooled system. If you are planning on water cooling, I think the unique 160mm fans are wasted in that scenario and you'd be better off with something else. But for air? This case HAS to be one of the best options available. ... show more

  • Nice but flawed. Case RGB controller with 4 buttons not good.
Style: 216 Black RGB
Quality construction. Large case with plenty of equipment and build space. Tool-less. Back area has plenty of nice velcro strips for easy cable management. Front fans are beautiful. Silent when not under load if fans tuned via mobo bios or smart fan software. All around beautiful case. HOWEVER, the 4 button RGB controller on the outside of the case has several problems. See reviews of it as a separate item. Most annoyingly, only 2 of the 4 buttons work providing very limited RGB control. Lian Li L-Connect does not recognize fans so no RGB control that way. NZXT RGB controller and NZXT RGB fans/strips coupled with CAM is so much better. ... show more

  • So easy to work in!
Style: 216 Black RGB
I've never had a case go from fully built to a skeleton in 3 screws, but this Lian Li does and it makes it SO easy to work on. It's as close to hassle-free a build as I've done: disassembly and reassembly, syncing RGB, everything worked smoothly. The bigger the case fan the better, in my opinion, because they push more air at lower RPM meaning they're actually quieter than smaller fans. The extra case fan in the back is an important inclusion for airflow, but it would be nice if it matched the RGB of the front fans. It deserves a picture of the finished build but I forgot to grab one before shipping it out - regardless, amazing case to work on AND live with. ... show more
