Install is simple. Just follow the order it tells you to plug things in and the Bluetooth connection is automatic. The sound is ridiculously clear and balanced to perfection. The AI technology in the remote is cool ass well. For under $200 this is a steal.

    • Great sound quality, but BIG BIG issue with 5GHz band wifi interfernce

The BIG problem with this sound bar is the interference with my 5GHz wifi band. It absolutely debilitates the wifi signal as the sound bar uses the same frequency as the 5GHz band. For me, it completely masked my 5GHz signal, so it didn't even show up as an option when trying to connect with my devices. I moved the netgear nighthawk x6 r8000 router further away from the sound bar, and it was still interfering. I was able to connect to my 5GHz band, but internet was very laggy, and when I ran the internet speed test, I was getting 85MB/s. When I unplugged the sound bar and ran the speed test, i was getting 500+MB/s. I was hoping it was just the wireless subwoofer that was causing the issue, but I unplugged the subwoofer and only ran the sound bar, and I still had interference. In conclusion, the sound bar interferes with the 5GHz band on your wifi. 2.4GHz is fine and works okay. Excluding the wifi issue, the sound quality is amazing, and the value for the money is great. Installation was a bit tricky as it was being installed to a Samsung TV, so I had to use the optical cable. The TV was not picking up the sound bar via HDMI. ... show more

This is a fantastic purchase. It was so easy to set up and connect to my LG TV. It adds impressive sound at a low cost point. I also use my TV as my screen to play online games with, and the sound is fantastic. It comes with an optical cable, no HDMI. I originally connected this with the optical cable, but was not happy with the way remotes were working. After doing some research, I found that it is better to connect using HDMI instead, as it provides better sound. Now with that connected, I don't even need to use the remote for the soundbar. I simply adjusted the bass with it and don't really need to use it again. I recommend this purchase. ... show more

I very seldom write a negative review, especially a one star review, and I hate returning things to Amazon. Unfortunately, this sound bar did not live up to expectations. I recently purchased an LG C2 OLED television and figured that this LG sound bar would be a good match. The television volume needed to be turned-up to 85% in order to get a comfortable volume level out of the sound bar. Also, the volume fluctuated from soft to very loud, so I had to constantly adjust it on the remote. After about a week, the sound just started to deteriorate to the point where I couldn't understand it. Unfortunately, there is no way to adjust the treble and bass. I had an older model 5.1 theater surround system (bass module, center speaker, front and rear). I bought this much simpler and smaller system. It's a simple bar that sits or mounts below and/or in front of the TV. It does a very nice job of separating Left and Right sounds based on the show being watched. It also is able to put the dialogue/voice in the center. The sound is clear and so is the directional sound. There is no sound delay or stutter. Easy set up. Good volume. I have this for the TV in my man cave but would be at home in a living room or bedroom if you don't want to run wires or deal with bluetooth dropping out for the speakers or wires to the rear speakers. ... show more
