This is an amazing OLED TV! The video is sensational and the audio is much better than on my last set and actually, better than I expected. Full disclosure: I am not of the "electronics" generation. I must say though that setting this set up was pretty easy however, the TV has SO many options I believe it will take me a while to discover everything it is capable of providing. Also, I have still not been able to understand why I cannot install Paramount +? I've investigated a bit and saw that in 2022, this app was not available on LG TV's....that surprised me. The Paramount + app appears to load but for the life of me, I have been unable to install it. So, you might want to investigate this situation if Paramount + is something you use. The media could not be loaded. Simply put, this TV does it all. You watch movies? Play games? Concerned about how various content (SDR/HDR/gaming) look and perform? The LG C4 showcases it and does it perfectly. The form factor is incredibly thin and the TV is very well engineered. The HDR highlights pop off the screen. The contrast is perfect. The onboard sound system is not optimal, but lets be real… if your getting this TV you have a soundbar/surround setup in mind already. I have the Bose 900 soundbar with sub and surrounds and it sounds so good. Gaming on the PS5 with this TV is absolutely incredible and is a delight. Many reviewers complain of a brightness diminishment in the game optimizer, but this has never bothered me. If I wanted a brighter TV, it would be solely to sear my retinas into blindness. That being said, the game optimizer menu feels like it belongs in your games and like it is a part of your gaming console. It’s just intuitive. Play Returnal, Astro Bot, Horizon, or GOW and you will be grinning from ear to ear. At $1396 for the 65” inch variant, this is a no-brainer. Perhaps reviewers will suggest the Samsung S90D with a QD-OLED panel, but I will ask… would you sacrifice slightly enhanced color vibrancy for inferior image processing? The LG Alpha 9 gen 7 processor is pretty dang incredible. My previous TV was a Sony and I must say that LG has come a LONG way with their processing. It’s on par with Sony at this point. Samsung can’t say the same and at the end of the day, it’s the image quality that counts. The LG C4 has it. The LG G4 is alluring, but we’re reaching a point of diminishing returns. If slightly amped up HDR highlights are worth an extra $900, then you lost the value to performance game. This is TV most everybody should be looking at from a value to performance standpoint. The OS is smooth, but I opted for an Apple TV interface and it has been nothing short of incredible. With Quick Media Switching, everything you connect to this TV will be buttery smooth. Everything you do on this TV will be incredibly immersive. I have no buyer’s remorse and am incredibly happy with my purchase. You get 4 HDMI 2.1 inputs at 144hz if you’re a PC gamer. You get incredible SDR, HDR, and Dolby Vision/Atmos support. You can fine-tune settings on this TV by input setting or by viewing content medium until your heart is content. You get 5 years of OS updates. Tell me what there isn’t to like. Reviewers mention that off-angle viewing has a green tint, but this is overstated and I have not encountered it with my particular panel. So, I wouldn’t worry much about what they say. Get this TV, get a nice soundbar/surround setup, and get an Apple TV 4K and you will be enthralled, I promise. ... show more

I bought this to replace my 8 year old LG (which I sold and is still working great). I wanted something with a faster processor to handle the higher demands of some of the newer streaming platforms. Not only is this more than capable, but every bit of operation is faster. Picture quality is incredible. The built-in AI makes most adjustments very well. Change from a TV program in Standard mode to a movie and it changes to Cinema mode. Of course, there is a ton of customization available as well. The WebOS operating system, considered the best by most experts, is better than ever. I thought my previous LG smart TV was smart but this is light years ahead. Two more things I’d like to mention: sound quality and the Magic Remote. Sound quality, while better than previous models, is still marginal like most flat screen TVs. I have always had a separate 5.1 surround system so it’s hard to be objective. That said, I bought my daughter’s family an LG 3.1 soundbar for Christmas to go with their new LG TV. It sounds quite good, especially with the wireless subwoofer. The extra $150 bucks is well worth it. Now about the remote. Many reviewers badmouth the LG remotes, even going so far as to leave 1 and 2 star reviews because of it. Take that with a grain of salt. I like the Magic Remote “pointer” system. This is my second one and once you’re used to it, you’ll never go back. And keep in mind that you can use it as a normal remote anyway. Some question the number keypad. While rarely used for normal functions, most don’t realize that all 10 keys can be programmed with shortcuts. Oh, and Amazon’s free delivery with placement in the room is fantastic. And if you want, they’ll unbox it and take all the packaging away. I’ll never buy a TV any other way again. ... show more

For the price this IS the best looking tv on the market. Clean, clear, crisp, vibrant picture. Darks are DARK, lights are BRIGHT. Game-mode is awesome. Supports 120hz consoles. UI/OS is simple enough, you can turn off ads and promos in the settings. If you’re looking at the C4 vs the G4 the only difference is the G4 is a bit brighter. The C4 gets PLENTY bright, also love the customization of the picture modes. The Dolby Cinema sound option is GREAT better than a $300 speaker bar. The “AI” functionality is pretty bad and not helpful. The “AI” picture and “AI” sound modes are bad, but don’t let that scare you off just turn all that off. The customizable Home Screen is great. Best TV on market for its price and value. I looked at tvs in person at Best Buy for about 2 months and did a lot of research! 10/10 ... show more

Very pleased with this TV, phenomenal picture quality. Set up was pretty straightforward although the instructions for attaching the base could be better. There are multiple privacy related policies that you have to agree to to get all of the TV's functionality to work. Among the provisions are various acknowledgements that you agree to let LG track what you are watching and provide advertising based on these viewing habits. Found this to be really intrusive. Since I get my programming via my Apple TV device I declined these terms and continued to watch via Apple TV. ... show more
