Let me start by saying I picked this up during Prime day for $220. I went back and forth between several glass curio cabinets ranging from $150 to $300. In all cases, I could hardly tell the difference between them, except this one has the glass shelves sitting on O ring gaskets...anyway... The items comes in two boxes, and both are extremely heavy. I recommend using a hand truck or a second person. In a pinch, I guess you could open the boxes and handle it one piece at a time. Assembly was easy except for one part. I did use a power drilll for the plastic supports on the base, otherwise it would love been really annoying. The included screwdriver is OK but you probably have way better at home. The glass slides into the grooves of the base and top. The base and top do not feel like press board and are pretty solid and heavy. The brackets, thumbscrews, and gaskets all together are about 6-7 small pieces, but hold the glass panels together and provide the space for the shelves to sit on. The hardest part of the panels was the rubber connector for the rear panels. I will say the instructions could've been more specific for the door installation. It does not explicitly tell you to use the provided black spacers or white inserts. You just kind of have to guess that's where they go. I learned that when one of the doors slipped out as I was putting the other door on. Thankfully, the glass didn't break when it hit the floor. Shout out to the quality of the product! Anyway, once the doors are on you're pretty much finished. I plan to install some LED lighting with LED channels at the rear of all four shelves. You can put this together solo like I did but having a secret and person is extremely helpful. I would recommend this product, it's gorgeous and tough, solid piece adding some upscale decor to any room. ... show more

The glass display cabinet is definitely good looking. It's a definitely larger than the Ikea Detolf so it's pretty spacious. The all around glass walls allow 360 degree view of whatever you want to display in there. Just remember not to put heavy stuff on the glass shelving as they will break. You also have the option of removing a level of shelving to display larger statue. 1 thing that keeps me from giving 5 out of 5 is the frequent scratch on the glass shelving panel. Out of the 3 panels, 2 of them have the tiny scratch as shown in picture 4, though just 1 scratch. (I did previous received a faulty part, which I got a replacement. I checked the 3 panels in the replacement package, all which have a scratch somewhere on the panel). It's not a big problem for me since my figure will cover them. Just like any other glass display cabinets, you can customize it with lighting, which will definitely make it look better :D ... show more

Anyone who purchases an item online where the main component in glass will likely worry. Well, this item arrived in a cardboard box around a wooden crate. The interior of the crate was surrounded with rubber. Inside of that the components were packed well, tightly, and nestled with Styrofoam. This is above and beyond what i would expect. Needless to say, everything arrived in perfection condition. The instructions give off major ikea vibes, but the assembly materials are separated and grouped according to need which is nice. A screwdriver is included. The assembly has few steps, but it can take some time if you want it to look good. This would be terrifying to assemble without a helper to hold glass panels. My suggestion would be to loosely connect the side panels to the back pieces, then before you put the top on, spend the extra time to get those back pieces centered. If you tighten to the first wall in the instructions, the back will not be centered, and you'll get bowing in the walls, and the doors will be a huge pain to align properly. The screw holes for the feet are very large. The screw heads barely don't go through. I used an electric screwdriver and it melted the tiny bit of foot plastic between the cabinet and screw head. Luckily there are additional smaller holes to mount with the feet. The plastic feet are definitely the weakest feature of this product. Be careful installing them. I had this assembled quickly, but spent more time than that tweaking the placement so the front doors aligned properly. Use patience, and make sure the back glass panels are centered. I was getting very frustrated trying to make it perfect, when i realized that the left door lock does go over the right door, so it's ok that the right door closes in ever so slightly more. Assembled, this looks fine. For 50% more than a detolf you get 50% more space, with the ability to make wider displays. Totally worth it. May get another one. ... show more

The shelf is packed incredibly well, wooden crating inside the shipping cardboard, thick styrofoam, really, truly well though out packaging, person who came up with it deserves an award. That said, the large panels of my shelf are all scraped and scratched up all over. It is on the edges but also some scratches in the center of panels, this had to happen before it was packed and still was shipped out. The way this is packed this couldn't reasonably happen, neither in the degree of scratching or really the locations of it. Every panel was wrapped in undamaged wrapping. Assembly once you get the idea of what theyre asking you to do, is extremely easy and actually well thought out. The manual is excellent and actually addresses questions that arise during construction rather than just being a typical textless picture of unmarked parts. The manual is good, and the major parts are labeled. Order of operations to assemble the shelf is well considered and makes the process simpler. I would be giving a super easy 5/5 if it were not scratched up, and I may contact the company to see if they can send some replacements. ... show more
