I was excited to try this instrument. I play the piano and the violin and wanted to try something new. I watched many videos to try to pick the best one for me. I found the sound to be a bit tinny. the letter imbedded on the keys are hard to see. so I wound up coloring them in so, basically it is a good instrument for a beginner. I purchased this for my son, who is in middle school symphonic band to be able to practice at home. He was delighted that this was what he was expecting. This was the most cost-effective option that had a stand. The components are sturdy and it was easy to put together.
