You push a button and in a couple of quick seconds and quick maneuvers, you have a really nice umbrella. I can't say on sturdiness because I haven't had it very long, but I think it is very comparable to other umbrellas and seems well made. My only complaint is the carrying case. I'm not sure why umbrella companies think we can get it back in a tight-fitting case once we have opened it up and fluffed it up a bit. There is NO WAY you can get this umbrella back in the case very easily. You'll have to try and try again to wrap it up tight for the case to fit over it. Frankly, I usually just throw them away. I'm not fighting with an umbrella case. If I am so compelled, I know how to make a better one with my sewing machine that will slide on easily. I'm not compelled though. LOL There is a strap with Velcro to secure the umbrella in a folded position, and that's good enough for me. I'm quite satisfied with this umbrella and the price was right on a lightening deal. ... show more

Seems sturdy enough, but not worth the price do to plastic ribbing. This was repeatedly delayed, over a week late - I needed it last week. Had to order a different one from Walmart which arrived in 2 days after ordering. I will be using this as a back up parasol to help block extreme heat ultraviolet rays when the ultraviolet rays are capable of burning my skin faster. ... show more

I bought this a few months ago but have waited to review until i used it in a few rainstorms. This umbrella has been great and definittely kept me dry. i love the one click to open and close feature but you do have to reset the springs if you click it closed but then need to open again. pushing it down once its clicked closed takes a little effort but not too bad. my only complaint like others have mentioned is the size of the handle. I wish it was longer so i can get a better grip. But other than that this umbrella is perfect it hasnt inverted on me and i have used it in some pretty windy and rough rainstorms. I am able to cover myself and my son when he is in my baby carrier. the size of the umbrella is just right and the color (red) is vibrant and pretty so im happy i went with a color instead of black ... show more
