Pleasant to the touch— cool and silky and not staticky. The brown inside the sunflower feels like sleek stuffed animal fur. The petals are more velvety and more like corduroy. The filling feels like regular pillow or teddy bear stuffing; it squishes easily and bounces back. Originally bought this to sit on (and I have) but for an adult it might be too soft depending on what you like. I’ve decided to keep it and use it like a stuffed animal— it’s so huggable!— and maybe also to sit on occasionally.
