This is one of the best investments I've made to my resin pouring hobby. I live in the pacific northwest and it gets too chilly to cure resin in the garage (my shop) during the winter. I brought my crafting supplies in the house this year because I wanted to make christmas ornaments. It took 24 hours for things to be solid enough to demold where I thought they would not deform and 48 until I felt comfortable hanging them. And then I got this mat. I have made everything in the pictures in the last week. Only once have I had a craft that needed 6 hours. everything else cured hard enough to be demolded in 4 hours. I have the one with the timer so I set it for four hours, and go about my business. Once everything cools to the touch, I can demold. it's brilliant. I have no warping or deforming. no problem with heating. the timer works beautifully. I love that this speeds up my experiments so I know what I need to do better or try again. it's wonderful ... show more

Summary: it works, definitely completely dries my pieces in 3 hours. Literally just load the tray, cover it and press the button. It turns off on its own after the three hours is up. That being said, it's not really level and you can't really fit that much in it. You definitely cannot fit a whole coaster set and holder in there. The problem is because of the upward curve of the bottom tray pretty much the only really level spot is dead center. I've learned this the hard way One example is when I had two notebook covers (size a6) fuse together because the resin slide off both into the middle. BUT it does do what it says it does, it does completely cure pieces in 3 hours so all in all it was a good investment. ... show more

Like others have said, it definitely starts to warp after usage. Maybe 10 hours in is when I noticed light warping. It's still usable, but you have to be careful not to cure your pieces crooked. I've placed a piece of glass over the mat and under my pieces to keep them straight, so I can prolong usage. You can work around the warping, if you get creative. 😉 Definitely worth getting - most thin pieces cure around 2 hours! Gamechanger for my business. ... show more

    • Great customer service from Let’s Resin!
The mat I initially received was warped and not flat. I tried using it and it wouldn’t flatten out. I sent an email directly to the Let’s Resin customer service asking if there was something I could do to flatten it or if it was faulty and they immediately sent a replacement. Gave them my Amazon order and they promptly sent a replacement that is much flatter. If you’re new to resin, don’t just crank the heat up on the mat. I’ve had things fully cure in an hour if it’s too warm, and then the bubbles don’t have a chance to fully rise and pop. If your house is already warm, I would only suggest turning it half way on. I suppose that would be the only drawback is that the mat doesn’t have a temp gauge of any type. ... show more

    • Warped after 2 months
The heating mat worked well in the beginning, it significantly cut down on the curing time for my resin projects. I did start to notice that the plastic slowly began to warp, it has now gotten to the point that i can no longer use it as all the pieces i place over it end up lopsided.
