I was looking for a mini Bluetooth speaker with great bass to pair with my phone and listen to music outside or at the beach, as well as use for my laptop while plugged in for easier to hear sound. Absolutely love this one - it's small, cute, and the sound is great! This was the 3rd speaker I ordered from Amazon - the first two from other brands, one $10 more expensive, one $20 more, and was starting to think I'd need to spend $50+ to get the kind of bass I wanted. Was so surprised at how good this one is! If you want a "sound system" with thumping bass like you're in the club, you probably will need to spend a few hundred and get something else. If you want to feel the bass from a favorite song just enough to feel it in your core, and also be able to use it for your laptop and have it fit in a small bag or in the palm of your hand, that you can both play plugged in or wireless, I can't imagine there's anything better out there for this price. I didn't get any free product and wasn't asked to write this review, and don't get compensated in any way. I don't even write reviews very often at all...just wanted to share the love, as I know if you are looking for something like this there's a good chance you'll really love it too :) ... show more

    • What I hoped for

What I needed for the car and easy to use. I have an older vehicle that does not link up to blue tooth and I could not seem to find just the right audio device until this one. I have used this for a couple of months now and I don't have anything bad to say about it so I will just list the things that make me glad I finally got this affordable option after other attempts with other products were failures. First it is so easy to use. After linking it the first time, it links up right away at turning on, no waiting a long time or anything. It always locates my phone right away. It is really easy to use without even looking at it once you use it a few times. I had tried another one before and trying to push mode and stuff to set it up to use each time was really aggravating, would take forever for each mode and would require me to pull over so as not to interfere with driving (safe driving is a must). I was prepared for the same thing with this one but I was so pleased when I started using it, it went to the right mode that I was trying to use each time after turning it on so without looking I can push the power button and I am good to go. Also sound is easy to control, you can do it from your phone or from the device. This is really handy in case you can't reach one item or the other. Second, the sound is GREAT! I could not have been happier with the sound. It can go so loud that I do not dare turn it up all the way, no need and the sound is so clear. It took me months to listen to a book before this sound device because while driving I would have to rewind so I could not hear sections again clear but as soon as I started listening with this, I could not wait to start the next book as I got through them so fast. Third, it works great for other phone audio sounds also including talk to text (text reading) and GPS on my phone. I actually turn the sound off on my phone GPS or turn it down through the menu options because it will be so loud over the audio book it can be a little much because the book audio seems to be lower sound and when turned up to hear nicely on this it makes GPS really loud. I wish I could control the sounds separate easily on my phone but I am not disappointed that I can't. The fact I can hear my books so loud and clear is wonderful. Fourth, the size is great. It is small enough to fit in my cup holders but I avoid that because it is shorter that the cup holder and makes it harder to get out but if I have a cord to it, it does not slip in. I have a spot in my dash it can sit also if I wanted it to be higher but I usually just leave down on the seat next to me. It is really amazing the sound that comes out of it for it being so small. Fifth, it seems really well made. I had tried a couple other sound items before and they were just plastic and once I started using them they would start to cut in and out or not hold a charge or something. For the size of this, it has some weight to it. I don't have it in my hand right now but I feel like if you sat on it, it is not going to break. I would say this is a great little sound device for your car or even your home if you need something to help boost the sound of any blue tooth product. ... show more

The speaker is pretty good. It will be great for travel. BUT. They sent me the wrong charge cord. Luckily I had one that fit. I am using it this evening after all night charge and it started to drag with music after just 1 and 1/2 hour. Plugged it in and music continued with out drag. It is made in China. Can’t expect much more I guess ... show more

I like this speaker a lot. It has a good size to it and it's durable. The only thing that was a problem was the charging port was extremely tight. So tight that I thought I broke it or it was already broken until the replacement arrived with the same tightness. (For reference it uses USB type A,) and I was very concerned that I could damage the connecting port inside. And I was almost okay with the product until Amazon started suggesting other products based on my recent purchase and I found that I liked its upgrade better. While these didn’t work for what I originally purchased them for, these are sufficient Bluetooth speakers. You can play music using the cord provided, or via Bluetooth, or via micro SD cards, which I really like. You can also pair two speakers together! (Not more than two, though, which is what I had hoped to try and do, but that’s no big deal.) The low end isn’t very loud, but that’s to be expected from such a small speaker, and if you put it on full volume, the speaker crackles, but again, that’s fairly par for the course, and considering how affordable this speaker is, that’s not a huge deal either. ... show more

This is an EXTREMELY well built device; solid metal!! I bought it as a remote ringer for another part of my house since I am hard of hearing. It does the job. Cons: Does not reconnect automatically if you've been gone from home. Also has shut itself off a couple of times for some unknown reason. The controls are on the bottom (there is really no other pace to put them) which makes it difficult to answer a call directly from this device. The microphone does not pick up well. It has multiple features which I don't even use such as playing music from an SD card. You can also use it as an Alexa or a Siri! Overall, a great little device for my purpose. YMMV. ... show more

Really like this product. Using it in my car for music and hands free. I only have four stars because I would have liked the buttons to operate not to be on the bottom. So you have to oick the device up to change modes, volume, skip songs, answer calls. Also, only had a couple of days so not super sure about battery life yet used about an hour and a half each day.
