This was the perfect gift for my mom for Christmas. She has a Christmas village that she puts up for the holidays and I thought this would be a great and different addition. The item arrived on time, before Christmas, and she loved it. Her mother (my grandmother) recently passed away and my mom was especially touched that this had a red cardinal in it. I think it took her a few minutes to also realize that it lit up and had a timer. Those were definitely bonuses. I know there’s another similar Lenox light up to this one so I’ll be looking for it to add to her collection. I definitely recommend this item. Oh, and I remember some others had commented that the interior of their globes were all white and not painted.
