It was easy to set up. It is inexpensive. But none of that matters. It didn’t even last the weekend. Yes it was windy, the Velcro straps tore right off. The poles pulled apart in the wind, the stakes they came with pulled right out. Don’t waste your time or money on this product. I should not have been surprised it was made in china. I’m not even going to return it. It’s going straight into the trash can. Very disappointing!!!!!! ... show more

This would not stand up to light rain or a 5mph breeze. I have owned other cheap canopies in the past, which lasted a few years. I expected this to be roughly the same quality, and the frame is, but the quality of the top material, and its fit are not the same. I bought this for a few different purposes, and one was to stay out of the rain. Because the top fits loosely, the poles keep coming apart & the rain collects on top collapsing in. While setting it up the first time, I attempted to tighten the top by adjusting the hooks to the next hole and the fabric ripped. Unless you are using this for shade on a perfectly still day because you think it's cute, I would look for something of better quality. ... show more

I bought this tent for a garden-style picnic and didn't have high expectations because of the reviews. However, the tent far exceeded what I expected. We left it up for 3 days in which one of them, there was a thunderstorm and it stood tall with no problem. The tent didn't move and only had one packet of water in the top which was easy to dump. The frame itself feels like it may be of lower quality when putting it together, but if you stake the tent properly and make sure everything is in its place tightly, it isn't going anywhere. My lawn is very uneven so this was an important part for me. We used 3 of the sidewalls, hung a backdrop on one of them, and as you can see added a huge balloon arch to the front. We also had a huge patio umbrella fall into it and it remained in place. It was easy to take down and put away. If you have soft ground, I recommend reinforcing your stakes. I also recommend when using the sidewalls to wrap everything tightly. The tension will pull the frame into the best alignment. And if you're concerned the poles aren't securely in the corner pieces, use a mallet to get them in all the way. ... show more

Used this tent as a temp auto paint booth for a mini cooper. For the money, it was excellent. It is a bit light, so minor wind will move it, and I would imagine a stiff wind would damage it. Assembled in 30 mins, one velcro strap was broken, but we fixed that with tape

Product is very flimsy and unsafe for use without a lot of reinforcement. Poles are entirely too thin and come apart extremely easily. The retention clips don’t hold pieces together, and even at $99 shipped is not worth the headache or frustration in setting up or using.

Design and ease of installation appear well thought-out, assembly was straightforward - just plan on having at least 2 (3 or more help setup move even faster) to install. During assembly, a mild gust of wind caused several roof truss metal poles to bend, some almost cracked at the mid-pole bend. Also, at least one of the plastic connectors cracked (unable to withstand the force exerted by the roof truss pole). Wind gust was NOT hurricane or even rainstorm-grade: sunny day, no tree branches cracked. Seller excellent policy, made things right (generated refund request to Amazon well within 30-day deadline). Seller offered replacement or full refund. Customer Service interactions very slow: agent seems out of country: about 14-hr time zone difference, so messages sent from US EDT time were replied on/after 23:00 hrs EDT. Need daily attention to Amazon e-mail notices of responses by seller; this allowed me to get clarification of seller's policy that does NOT require shipping defective item back as product return. ... show more

I read the reviews so I was scared because I bought this for outdoor wedding. Three people put it together the morning of no issue and then they kept it up even through torrential storms at night so I guess it might just depend on the storm or how you put it off .I did buy white duct tape just in case some of the issues, others sad, but they didn’t have to end up using it.
