We have a Dutch Shepherd that adopted us. He’s a pretty big dog and this house is very large and accommodates him nicely. It wasn’t too too hard to assemble. My husband is handy and it took us about 30 minutes to put together. It’s large so assemble in place you intend to put it. But it does take two to assemble. It looks good. Absolutely love this. I ordered the large size and my main concern was is it going to be big enough? It is, my large and medium size dog fit perfectly and have room to spare. It's beautiful. The material is good quality and seems sturdy. I couldn't be happier.

Overall this doghouse is a good value. My only issue with it was assembly, which is more difficult than it looks because the panels themselves are very flimsy and come bent in a slight arch that makes it hard to line up when snapping together. We needed a dog house for our Labrador since the rainy weather is on its way. I planned on building one, but this dog house is working well. The house is big enough for our dog to get out of the wet weather and is cool when the sun comes out. It was very easy for me to assemble and is solid when everything is tied together. This dog house is excellent. I rated it right up there along with igloo which are $350. This is an excellent doghouse easy to assemble and it looks great. It could fit a 200 pound dog in these extra large ones. I recommend the seller ships quickly great product, thank you. It’s not fully rainproof. Bc door and air vent! But the seller has been really good to me and I recommend the seller and I recommend this product. I just happen to live in the Appalachian Mountains and we get rain and snow all the time so I’m just gonna use a piece of tarp put it on there, and my problem will be fixed.. ... show more

    • Craptastic Flimsy POS! Save your $$$

For the $100 I paid, I expected better. This is worth about $25 at the very most! You are supplied with 6 walls of plastic that you have to assemble to create the roof, sides, front and back. The roof is assembled by attaching a long piece of plastic to the two roof pieces of plastic to create the triangle roof. Then, you have to slide the walls into the underside of the roof. After that, you slide the front and back sections into the walls. Finally, you snap in the bottom piece (the floor). Once completed you secure all the pieces by screwing them all together. Sounds easy, right? It's not! It's not easy because the plastic sections are all pretty flimsy and don't line up properly; the reason they don't line up properly is because the pieces are not hard, sturdy plastic; they are flimsy pieces that warped in transit. So, you are working with bent pieces of cheap material trying to cram them into the proper sections. The screws are coated with some sort of crappy black powder that rubs off onto your hands (or gloves) when you're screwing the pieces into place. This dog house is an absolute joke! I was an idiot and didn't assemble the thing until after my return window, so I made the best of it. However, I seriously doubt it's going to withstand the weather! DO NOT BUY THIS! Save the $100 and put it towards a top-quality dog house such as the Igloo brand -- I bought an Igloo dog house 35 yrs ago, and it's still going strong despite being a little beat up on the underside that rests on the concrete -- granted, Igloos are expensive, but compared to this POS, an Igloo is well worth the extra $. The one plus side is that everything you need to assemble this dog house is included: all pieces, all screws, a screwdriver, a pair of gloves, and the plastic things that you pop onto the bottom of the underside to stabilize it as well as a couple of stakes to secure the sides into the ground -- so 1 star for that. Overall, it seemed like a great idea but turned out to be a great disappointment! ... show more

My husband and I ordered this for our neighbor’s outdoor dog as a surprise Christmas gift. She was so excited, and the dog really loves it. It was easy for my husband to put together. Assembled by myself but would recommend a second pair of hands. I appreciated the gloves that come with because the edges of the plastic slice up your fingers. The plastic is so thin the edges give you little slices like paper cuts. As others have noted it seems extremely cheap but once assembled feels sturdier. My dog took to it quickly and likes it a lot. She’s an 80lb GSD and it’s the perfect size for her. She’s basically been living in it for a week until it rained. It’s not waterproof. I lined the floor of the house with a yoga mat and towels and found both were soaked through from the bottom. I have the dog house sitting on a deck so no chance water soaked in from the ground. It wasn’t even raining hard so I’m a bit disappointed as I was hoping for a rain shelter for my outdoor loving dog. At least it’s warmer inside. Totally sucks that it’s not waterproof. The only reason I bought this was to keep my girl dry in the rain as she won’t come inside the house. ... show more
