Now I purchased the Lekesky pet carrier with wheels and I love it. I loved using this dog/cat carrier to take my dog with me on a flight. He is a toy size and the carrier left him a lot of room. It is also easy to take through the airport due to the wheels which are detachable. It can be carried on shoulder or wheeled. The mat inside can also be washed which is nice. ... show more

I have a mini aussie-doodle that weighs about 18 pounds and she fits well sitting down. She is not able to fully stand up but for if I unzip the top, she can stick her head out easily and be able to travel comfortably in an airplane. It’s cute and the idea of it is practical. it does not fit under the plane seat. I had to bend it down and force it under there (obv not with my dog in it). I was lucky they let him sit on my lap. The trip back I ended up putting it in overhead storage but it was too big for that they had to turn it on it’s side and put it in long ways. The handle flaps down unless it’s secured which is annoying while you’re picking up the carrier in a hurry or needing to stop. You’ll have to find something to prop it up on. Or just clip and in clip it constantly. It’s not reliable on the escalator. The wheel gets stuck on the lip of every surface causing the back end to fly up, dumping the dog out of the carrier. I wouldn't say it’s efficient. Especially navigating through the airport. ... show more

I got this with the idea of taking my cat to outdoor patios and using it as a place for him to go hide if he gets scared by something. The carrier The two ends are what provides all the vertical structure for the carrier. If you have the front end unzipped, it starts to go flat on that end, especially when the cat gets in and leans on the side of it. This is unfortunate because it was the primary reason I purchased it, to let him go in and out of it when he wants to. I just plan on velcroing a dowel on the inside to keep its support. When zipped up, it feels secure and sturdy. My boy is [currently] 10 pounds and I didn’t have any concerns carrying him around. It does fold down into a small footprint for easy storage. The liner pad is firm and has 2 sides, a smooth and cooler side, and a warm and fuzzy side. This is what provides the bottom support for the bag to keep its shape while carrying it. It does have a little give to it, so I’m worried when my boy gets larger, he may bend it out of shape. The cart The rolling cart is neat, but it is not practical when trying to remove the carrier from it when there is a pet inside. Like trying to remove the rolling part to put the carrier in the car and trying to put it back on when getting out of the car. Putting it on is easy but taking it off (while occupied) is difficult. When it is not occupied it was very simple to attach and remove and feels sturdy. It also rolls incredibly smooth, even on some rougher surfaces. It had no problems on our thicker carpet. The wheels detach which is great for keeping them clean. Overall It feels like a nice product. None of the materials feel cheap, everything feels like it is made of good quality stuff. If you travel with your pet a lot or go on long trips, this is a pretty good purchase. If you just need something for quick trips to the vet, you could probably get away with a cheaper option. ... show more
