Description

The 9-in Dual-Purpose In-Wall Enclosure is engineered to provide storage of structured wiring and AV components. The ENP0905NAV1 is constructed of Wi-Fi transparent material to manage wireless components and AV devices at point-of- use locations, like directly behind a TV or other media centers. It can also be used for structured wiring purposes, as smaller-sized options in the existing line of On-Q enhanced structured wiring enclosures. The ENP0905NAV1 is compatible with devices like Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, network switches, 3rd party structured wiring components and more. Includes a 5-in elevated mounting plate, cover, trim ring and drywall clips, allowing for both new construction and retrofit installations.

I replaced a massive case which had been installed in my house when it was built 20 years ago, which was supposed to be future proof. It was over 24” tall and stuck out of the wall almost 4”. It turns out it wasn’t so future proof after all. There was only one coaxial cable in there and an electrical outlet, since I don’t have a phone landline or cable TV anymore. This case could have handled more a lot more, but I did not need it. Needed a media enclosure to put behind my wall mounted tv. This one seemed to be well built and of quality material. Installation was easy and fit perfectly between 16 on center spaced wall studs. Only issue was that it came with a bunch of tape on the outside of it that seemed to be from someone else using and returning the product so that’s why a star is taken away. I paid no attention to it as it was going to be in a wall hidden behind a tv anyway. Wife loves the look of the tv now with no wires sticking out so big plus there ... show more

YES IT FITS! For those that are unsure. The “connect” box has to be placed before you install the faceplate. 4 short screws to remove faceplate if you need to take the “connect” box out. Easy

    • Decent box for in-wall cable management
I actually got one of these to shove an Odroid H3 into the wall with its power supply, usb cables, monitor cables, sound bar cables etc. It gets a little cramped with everything i have shoved in there but seems to do the job. It took me a little effort to find an outlet that fin in this box (locally). I also had to shave down one side of the outlet cover because the outside frame of the box would not sit properly until I did Overall does what it's supposed to.     • Be Careful - Not all parts included
The box itself is decent, but be aware that for this price, it is JUST the box. No outlets, outlet boxes, grommet covers, nothing. Also, if you go to buy the "compatible" receptacle and box, they're like $35+ per receptacle. And they're anything but compatible - the screws stick out and lift the plate cover, there's no room in the box, and it doesn't line up correctly. You're better off buying a deeper retrofit box and just drilling new holes in the flanges. I had much better luck and it cost about $4 per outlet instead of $35+. Saved around $60 and was a better end result. ... show more
