The design is missing a seal around the lid, sort of like some of those Tupperware lids have. If that were to be added, then I would feel more confident. Also, not UL certified.

If I had paid 10% of this price, I would have been unsurprised by what I got. This is complete garbage. It is no where near water proof - but what is worse is that the plastic is very brittle and thin. I can't imagine that it will not be obliterated by the elements or a particularly angry rat.
