  • Son loves it!
Platform For Display: Nintendo Switch Edition: Deluxe
I preordered the deluxe version for my son. He’s been waiting since Christmas 2020 for this to come out. I was nervous that I wouldn’t get it because the release day came and it didn’t ship and was showing it was unavailable. It shipped a few days late. I forgot that it came with the Luke minifigure so that was a bonus for us. It came with all pieces and both faces. I see complaints of how he can’t hold milk unless his hand is straight up. Must be someone not familiar with LEGO and how minifigures hold items like this. It holds the milk just like the picture. You press it on top of his hand with the flat part up. My son is loving this game. He played it several hours yesterday and it was the first thing he wanted to do today. The game looks great and we have had zero issues with it. It needed an update as soon as we put the game card in, but that only took a minute. The box was slightly damaged because it was sent in a bubble mailer like others have stated. I didn’t buy this as a collectors item. I bought it so my son can have the game he’s been waiting so long for. The box is cool though because the Vader helmet is printed on the plastic sleeve so the helmet slides off when the sleeve is removed. The game is awesome with a great way of telling the story between levels. It’s funny with great graphics. The Lego flyers that came with the game and with Luke minifig were outdated though. It was the same Star Wars stuff that was released when they had the first commercial announcing the game. A lot of the stuff can’t be found for the regular price anymore. All in all great game. Don’t know why it took so long to release but I have one happy kid. ... show more

  • Great Lego game, but gets old and repetitive less than midway through
Platform For Display: Nintendo Switch Edition: Deluxe
First off is the plethora of characters and locations you can travel to. To have 400 playable characters is simply incredible, and to be able to travel to 24 planets is a great feature. Though this game is a lot of fun in the beginning, and especially while playing co-op, it gets old pretty quick. There's hundreds of puzzles to solve, but they only come in a variety of 7 or 10 types. Playing them over and over gets tiring. The humor is kind of the only thing that makes the story interesting. It follows the movies too closely, as have the other newer, major Lego games. It doesn't take enough liberties to make the story a bit more interesting. ... show more

  • There are two reasons to get this version
Platform For Display: Nintendo Switch Edition: Deluxe
The two reasons to buy are you love lego games and Star Wars. And want to play it portable, oh. Three reasons. You love Lego games, Star Wars, play portable, and it's your main console. Four, four reasons... Lego and Tt are putting out a great effort. Several hubs, much better gameplay, and impressive visuals for the Switch. You can find many reviews and learn this is a good game, but the Switch port... It is by far the most compromised port. The dark side of this port is 30fps, there is no way this is 720p, pop in. The pop in is boarder line bad. The Yoda side of this port is it is a locked 30fps, the TAA and art style hide much of the low res, it still looks really good. It plays exceptional. The deluxe version comes with a figure, a box, and DLC featuring the Mandolorian guys and others you probably don't care about. More will unlock or have unlocked depending when you're reading all this. Should you get the Switch version? If you can live with popin it really is a great port. Five, five reasons you should buy it. ... show more

  • Great game!
Platform For Display: Nintendo Switch Edition: Deluxe
I love these games. This one so far has been just as great. Only two parts I am disappointed in. The Lego Luke that came with the game is not smiling or winking. All the packaging and pictures had that playful face that I wish mine had. Secondly, the blue milk is not able to fit in his hand. You have to raise the arm and insert it onto his arm. Some may say I am nitpicking. But I did order the deluxe edition thinking I would get what was pictured. ... show more

  • Entertaining game
Platform For Display: Nintendo Switch Edition: Deluxe
It is a very entertaining game. I think some updates are due, I found a bug in Episode VI (when chasing troopers in Endor). Overall, it is an awesome gift for any Star Wars and/or Lego fan. In my case I am both, so I love it.

  • Fun but...
Platform For Display: Nintendo Switch Edition: Deluxe
I thought you had total control to jump around in the game wherever you wanted but it's the standard unlock this level to get to the next. It's still fun though. Also, the Luke mini figure comes with blue milk not a Saber!!! Give me a break. 😏

  • Amazing game!
Platform For Display: Nintendo Switch Edition: Deluxe
This game is amazing. The wait and money was worth it. It meets beyond my expectations. I have not played through all the levels yet, just the Princess Leia one. Only by playing that one, I like how the level is not easy nor difficult. I also love how they threw the humor in it. It is a must have for any Star Wars fan guaranteed. I love it so much that I am going to buy another copy of it soon. ... show more
