I have to applaud Lego for the good instructions because he ended up putting it together entirely by himself in about 10 hours of work. I purchased this for my husband (age 72) for a summer project. He absolutely loved it. It was a fun and challenging project. It came together nicely and it has working parts, motor, doors, etc. he has it sitting in our office on display. The instruction book is clear and easy to follow and the bags of parts are clearly marked. I don’t think it would be appropriate for a young child but mid to upper teens would be okay. It looks amazing and he had soooo much fun he keeps dropping hints about the next one he wants . I enjoyed building this lego expert creator set and I like the classic pickup trucks and I'm not sure if this lego red pickup truck is based on the real classic pickup trucks? I think it's like a mixture of three classic pickup trucks. Ilike the different seasons and also liked the round shapes and the corners also the front view of this red pickup truck and there were no incorrect red colors. The Christmas ref build was a difficult build, I've took my patience building it. I also added the stickers that was included with this Lego set. This Item wasn't damaged and no missing lego pieces I highly recommend this lego creator expert set that who likes pickup trucks. This picture is for to fix this truck for This lego piece in the left is the damaged on and the one in the right corner is my exrta lego piece that I had in storage the exrta one didn't came with this set I had to find it in my storage. ... show more
