This is my first Lego set. I bought it while recovering from an accident. I spread the build over four days. It really helped past the time. Pricey YES but well worth it. Amazingly all the parts were there. It went together great with a good manual enclosed. I have a love for Vespas which was my motivation. While not in-expensive, Legos are quality made and fun (relaxing) constructing. I am now assembling a the Boutique Hotel (3,000 pieces) which I will spread over at least two weeks. Like a jigsaw puzzle, but better, it is so relaxing spending a few minutes working on it. It’s a new hobby for me. ... show more

I found this Lego kit a welcome diversion from previous intricate Lego car kits. Plastic part bags were numbered and no missing parts, the direction manual was the best I have ever seen, e.g., clear and accurate illustrations and easy to follow directions, assembly was straightforward and the partially assembled parts and subassemblies did not fall off as I was building the motor scooter. My Lego-loving tween was thrilled to receive this as a gift, she's been hoping for it for ages. She definitely had to concentrate to build it, what with the parts being especially tiny, unusually shaped in some cases, and mostly the same two colors.
