Young witches and wizards join Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger as they brew powerful Polyjuice potion. Drinking it transforms the characters into Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle, which kids achieve by turning the minifigures’ heads to reveal an alternative face and adding a different hairpiece. The magic can go awry, however, such as when Hermione transforms into a cat! There are other surprises too: an exclusive, 20th anniversary golden Harry Potter minifigure; 2 random wizard card tiles to collect; and a secret tunnel beneath the sink. When this toy set for boys and girls is combined with LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Chamber of Secrets (76389), the secret tunnel connects the 2 rooms, expanding the play possibilities even further. This magical, modular system lets kids continue adding rooms to create an entire Hogwarts Castle model. The set measures over 3 in. (8 cm) high, 5 in. (12 cm) wide and 2.5 in. Our family likes Lego sets. We do try to get Lego sets that have some challenge and difficulty during construction, so there is some thinking and instruction following skills used. This Harry Potter Polyjuice Potion Mistake Set is a smaller set, yet contains some fun and hidden elements that will please almost all Lego and Harry Potter fans. It is a fairly easy set to assemble, with easy to follow and well mapped instructions. There are a good number of minifigures in this set, which makes it even more valuable to a Lego fan and collector. This set also can be built into other Harry Potter Sets, to make it part of one of Harry Potter's famous school buildings. Great gift! It was amazing, very easy to build and also very fun too to play after. I highly recommend this set, and this would go nicely with other Chamber of Secret Harry Potter sets. Only reason I rated 4 out of 5 was because i'm pretty sure it was missing a piece, and a bit small, but overall, very good. The package was not damaged, and everything was packaged nicely. I think 20$ is a bit too expensive for a small set like this, but it was pretty much worth it. ... show more

Our 10 year old grand daughter is a puzzle maniac. She loves assembling large jigsaws, 500 pieces are her favorite, and she spends hours in her room working on puzzles. She is also a big fan of Legos and has been to Lego Land twice. On top of all of that, she reads and re-reads Harry Potter books and has a Harry Potter Chess Set which is displayed on the family's living room coffee table. Lego Harry Potter anything is right up her Diagon Alley. The fact that the Lego figures can change heads really is a special touch that she enjoys.
