My 8 year old son loves using the booklet and QR code to make little sets. He enjoys the variety of the pieces that are included, which allows him to make creative and fun toys. Overall, this is a very good toy that I would suggest.

If your family is just starting out with Legos, this is a great buy. There are so many pieces of various colors. The instructions are easy to follow and there are many ideas. The box itself is great, very sturdy and large. It holds way more pieces than it comes with. I purchased this to have a set of Lego toys at my house for my grandchildren. They love to play with Legos but at ages 3 and 5 are not ready for the large sets. I like that this came in a cute box to store them in, but I was a little disappointed that there weren't more actual rectangle bricks and a lot of very small pieces. The 5-year-old has enjoyed building several of the projects that were in the book and we have enjoyed playing with the Legos but only wish they had more bigger pieces and not so many small ones. ... show more
