I gave this LEGO set as a gift to my child for their 7th birthday. My child loves playing with this set, loves that it has so many neat things to build that can be built quickly, and that there are lots of different pieces to add to our LEGO collection that are different shapes/sizes than what we already have. I will say that while the box makes it look like there are a million pieces in the box and that price per brick is decent on this set compared to other sets on Amazon, there still don't seem to be a ton of bricks when you open the box. There are 500 pieces in this LEGO box, however, most of them are small sized bricks, making this a low volume set.     • They are so transparent that you might lose them when they’re right in front of me
I didn’t like how I was constantly losing them because of their transparent characteristics but if I can keep my fingers on them and find the right place to put them magic was born right in front of me

We wanted regular “bricks” of legos and misunderstood the product. There are TONS of little figures to build in this one which my kid probably likes better. The only downfall is once they’re all opened there is no way to keep them separated so in a bin they go. Still great product!

    • It's Legos - what can I say?
Came with two booklets on how to build several animals...I was hoping for 500 larger pieces, and this is not that. You get lots of little eyeball disks that are really tiny and part of the 500 count along with lots of other tiny pieces. But grandkids loved making the animals- good quality as always.
