This is the second year in a row that I purchased a Lego Advent Calendar. The Lego kit was wonderful and contained different kits for every day of December. I bought the kit for my college age son and he shared the kit with the rest of the family. Every night in December after dinner he would pick two days, take out the kits and share them with his sister, father and I. Then as teams we would build the kits. We loved doing this advent calendar. We hunted around for one that seemed fun and this definitely hit the nail on the head. My son was excited about finding out what surprise Lego was in store for us each day. Easy enough for a 6 year old to put together with a little help from mom and dad. Product came with a nice hole in the box but doesn't seem to affect any of the build pieces. At least as of yet. I ordered this in November but didn't receive it until December 6th but other than that its been GREAT!

This City Advent Calendar is as wonderful as described. Our 6-yr. old grandson will be delighted every day on the countdown to Christmas as he adds fun characters to create holiday action stories. However, our order unfortunately was shipped via USPS, resulting in a wrong delivery & requiring us to spend an hour at the main P.O. trying to track it down! Thankfully, it was found! We definitely prefer AMAZON to ship and deliver our orders because their personnel demonstrate efficiency, integrity and correctness! So very important! ... show more

This is a winter holiday tradition in my family. Every year it does not disappoint. The whimsical small LEGO sets that LEGO chooses for each day is always wonderful. This is a great way to get through the Day 1 – to the day 24 of the month of December. If you have LEGO lovers in your household or are looking for a gift for those in your sphere, these will not disappoint. TIP: buy early, they do tend to sell out and if you buy early you usually can get these at a manageable price tag. - Sturdiness is not really relevant to this since each day is an individual mini-set. ... show more

Annual Xmas gift for wife and son. Love this advent tradition for these two. Perfect little surprise to open each day of Advent, and when done - can use with all other Lego sets on hand. They are a little on the pricey side for what you get, but worth it once a year
