My baby who is only 8w old isn't latching properly so I had to change my plan from direct breastfeeding to exclusive pumping. I was just an enough-er, made about 2-4oz per session to less than an oz to an oz. I realized the stress from exclusively pumping affecting my supply. I’ve tried everything to keep my milk supply up and stay motivated to pump, but nothing seemed to work—until Legendairy Milk Liquid Gold! This supplement has truly been my last resort, and I’m so glad I gave it a shot. Within just a few days, I noticed my breast were engorged but the supply seems to be the same. After a couple of days, my engorged breast went away my supply seems to be doubled than what I used to make before, right now I make around 6-8oz. Before the first day of using it was over my milk was less thin and had more fat. legit liquid gold, I went from see through white to yellow ish like it was when turning from colostrum to milk . My supply gets almost non existant when it's my time of month and I started this mid cycle because i was pumping for two hours straight to barely get two ounses (I was constantly pumping for 4 days to feed him). This product got me back to my regular 2 ounces in 6 minutes supply (my regular amount) with in 12 hrs. I really thought the hype with this product was fake but I can tell you myself it's not. I took two today and my child is content again. Thank God for the person who made this product. If this sounds like you stop stressing and order now, girl save yourself. Honestly even if yoy don't need it I would recommend having it jjst incase. I've tried lots of stuff like the milky momma drinks, the milky momma emergency brownies, the home made smoothies and oatmeal cookies, the pumping milkflow drink (that last one was the worst..) and none that that worked or could be noticed. I am an exclusively breastfeeding mom, so I don't have the ability to visually see an increase in supply in bottles, but I can say that my daughter's wet diaper output has increased and for that I am so grateful. I have three kids and every time I get my period back (around 3-4 months PP every time), my supply tanks. I currently have a 4-month-old and I thought my supply was just dipping the week of my period but it never went back up. I have been eating plenty of oatmeal, increasing my hydration, making sure I'm eating enough, trying to manage my stress levels, and taking brewer's yeast. All of that might have helped some but I became concerned when I noticed my daughter's wet diaper output had significantly decreased and her fontanelle was deeply sunken and not improving. Her naps were also affected and had shortened as she was waking more frequently because she was hungry. I ordered the Liquid Gold supplement and THANK GOD it increased my milk supply in about 12 hours. My daughter is noticeably drinking more milk, her wet diaper output has increased, and her fontanelle is almost back to normal. I do take the supplement with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I tried a few days of only taking 4 a day versus 6 but felt it wasn't quite enough of an increase since my supply had dropped so, so low. I wish Legendairy Milk sold the 180 count on Amazon versus just the 60 count bottle but I've set up a subscription to have these delivered every two weeks so I don't ever accidentally run out. ... show more

    • USE EXTREME CAUTION!!
UPDATE: Ladies, it can be really easy to disregard critical reviews when you are desperate to increase your milk supply. It’s what I did. And I just want to share the very heavy price my baby and I paid for thinking “it won’t happen to me”. I only ask that you consider the risks with an open mind and watch out for signs of intolerance in your baby. My 8 week old baby had a total of 7 full days of diarrhea and green stools. She averaged 10 bowel movements daily. I called her pediatrician and a lactation consultant who were all kinda stumped and said the herbs should have been out of my system in 2-3 days. I then brought my baby in for a physical exam on her 4th day of diarrhea worried about dehydration. The doctor wasn’t concerned at that point and said to watch for signs of dehydration. By the 6th day there was still no improvement so she told me to go to the ER for evaluation. My baby had an IV put in (a traumatic experience) and received fluids just to be safe. They tested for a bacterial infection which was negative. The doctor said she wasn’t dehydrated and her electrolytes were balanced so they sent us home advising that it may take 7-10 days for her system to normalize. We are so blessed things did not end up worse than they were. But when I say it was the worst week I’ve ever had in a decade it would be an understatement! My worry over this issue sent me spiraling into postpartum anxiety. I felt myself losing my appetite and not being able to sleep even with all my sleep deprivation. It was absolutely horrible. There was just no indication her diarrhea would ever stop! My mind constantly raced: is she absorbing any nutrients? What is this doing to her insides? Is my breast milk hurting her? Should I stop breastfeeding? (devastating) Is it actually an infection that’s causing this? I was exhausted from all the pumping and dumping. Ladies, this situation almost ended my breastfeeding journey. And here I am now with a reduced supply. Baby gets breast milk and topped up with formula now. It is what it is and I’m grateful I have any breast milk for her at all. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This product wrecked my baby’s bowels. Baby is 8 weeks old. I took 2 doses (4 capsules) on Day 1 and 3 doses (6 capsules) on Day 2. No other diet or supplement changes. At the end of Day 2 baby’s frequency of bowel movements increased. By noon on Day 3 the stools turned green. At that point I realized the product was to blame. I had to dump pumped milk from Day 2. I also pumped and dumped the rest of Day 3 and baby got formula. I was so angry!! I don’t make enough milk as it is (hence trying these supplements). Baby is also a bit more gassy than normal and slightly more fussy. I started breastfeeding again once it had been 24 hours since my last dose. It’s the morning of Day 4 and baby is still having frequent bowel movements and green stools. Hoping things regulate today. I’ve been worried about diarrhea in a baby this young and it’s stirring up so much anxiety that I can’t sleep. Will be calling the pediatrician if this issue doesn’t clear on it’s own soon. I’m so upset that this product has wreaked so much havoc on our lives! Will update as things change. ... show more
