I have the other kosher lamp but bought this one recently because it looks better designed and it was also less expensive. I've attached pictures of both my old one and this new one. Merits on its own: I like the design, I like how it functions, and I have no complaints. Merits compared to my other kosher lamp: my other kosher lamp is the ubiquitous one you see everywhere. It's made of cheap plastic, while this new one is made of metal so it feels better quality. The old one is a weird hexagon shape and this one is clean and round in design. The old one is more expensive for no reason that I can decipher, while this one seems all around better quality and less expensive. ... show more
