    • Perfect lights for nighttime visibility, especially for my dogs

I bought these to attach to my visibility vests for my dogs. The clip on easily and stay on well, even with my two retrievers shaking themselves silly and running about. The lights are incredibly bright and have three settings: solid, fast blinking and regular blinking. I use them when walking my dogs at night and they definitely have helped make us much more visible to other drivers as well as make it easier to see my dogs in the distance (in the woods, etc.). They came with batteries loaded as well as extra batteries for each and the smallest screwdriver I have ever seen. I did have to change the batteries immediately on one of the units. It was an easy but delicate operation in which I already lost one of the teeny tiny screws. It doesn't seem to have an impact on my usage though. I will definitely buy these again if I need to. ... show more

There once was a man who worked hard all his life. Although quite content with his current situation, he searched on for a hobby. He tried various things but found them to be a tad cumbersome. One day during a visit to a health wizard, it was mentioned obesity had taken over and ailments weren't too far behind. It was difficult but knowing he had young ones leaning on him for every aspect of life, he was determined to make a change. His other half dragged him out for a jog around the block and for the very first time, he ran nonstop for a whole quarter mile before succumbing to exhaustion. Obesity was getting comfortable and he wanted so much to make a run for it; so he did. First he celebrated a successful mile. Then he stretched it out to two miles. He eventually conquered a 5K. Soon enough, he was running double digits. Although obesity was still chasing him, his tenacity to keep moving forward made it nearly impossible for obesity to catch up. He ran every day and when the days began to shorten, he started running into the dark evenings. It was scary not because of ghouls and goblins, but due to unaware folks prancing around in their shiny four wheeled crafts. One time too many he had to make abrupt stops to prevent physical injuries. He found that the night made it difficult for captains of these vehicles to see him clearly. He knew that if he desired to continue this hobby without proper illuminating apparel, something unfavorable would result. He quickly summoned the internet spirits and sure enough stumbled onto these enchanted blinking green orbs. He thought to himself that if he were to attire himself with such magical displays, he would serve to be more visible to navigators of the night. He submitted a trade with haste and received the merchandise in no more than two days. That very evening, he took the orbs for a quick test and was not surprised that he remained visible to all who journeyed in the vicinity. During one of his travels sporting these magical orbs, his other half caught a glimpse whilst maneuvering her craft. She mentioned she thought she had seen a glowing being from another world. It is till this day that he continues to clothe himself with these items for the well-being of his runs. ... show more

Overall: A good pair of safety lights. I will probably purchase another set. Pluses: Lights work as advertised. I purchased the red lights. Visibility is quite good. Three modes: Constant; Fast Blinking; Slow Blinking. Slow blinking is actually moderately blinking, and it is my mode of choice. Extra set of batteries is provided. Minuses: To change batteries, you must open the case, which is held in place with four tiny Phillips head screws (tiny screwdriver is provided). Loupes or good near vision is required, along with a certain measure of dexterity. A tremor could render this process problematic. If one of these screws rolls onto the floor, it may be lost forever, so take necessary precautions. I opened the case as a trial run, and the two CR 2032 batteries spilled out before I could check their orientation. Instructions for replacement were a bit confusing, and it took me three tries to replace the batteries in their correct orientation. The clip works reasonably well, but it requires two hands to attach it to my safety belt. Not tested: The Velcro straps. N.B. These lights are smaller than they appear in the photos. Check the dimensions. Keep track of the tiny screwdriver for future battery changes. ... show more

These little bike/running safety flashers work great and are easy to mount with the velcro straps. They warn drivers that we are sharing the roads with them and help them see us before they get too close. They are great gifts for your loved ones who ride bikes, walk or run outdoors.

Overall these safety lights are what I expected. Good quality except that on one of the lights all the LEDs do not light up. Each light has 5 LEDs. Out of the box, one works fine while only 4 LEDs are working on the other. I like the lights and would have given four stars but I'm not sure that more LEDs will not fail on the defective light. The fully operational light works great but I'm just not sure that I would order these again. Update: So I have to give BIG Props to Mike (Owner) @ Whole Human Products!! After reading my post, he emailed me and said my replacement lights were on the way!... Must admit I was not expecting that! As I said, I really like these lights... and now I have a whole new appreciation for them and Whole Human Products!!... Good product + Great Customer Service = 5 Stars! Thanks Mike!... We'll definitely be doing business again! Final Update: That was fast. I received my new lights today and they work just fine. Don't want to sound crazy excited about a couple safety lights... but I am excited about the Whole Human Customer Service experience. Great Job Mike!
