We had these hardwired and LOVE the look. This was actually option 2 and for a fraction of the cost I am beyond happy. They look great in person. The light can be a little harsh (almost clinical?) but I honestly wanted to look of the hardware more than the functionality of the light. I appreciate the ability to move the arm. Just like other reviews, the rod that supports the lamp will not stay in the up position you want. Within hours, it slowly droops downward until it is nearly flat against wall. So why did I buy? It looks great and I thought I could figure out how to shim the connection point to stop sagging. I could not. The tolerances are just crappy enough to not allow a shim yet far enough apart to not allow tightening without stripping. Argh!!!! ... show more

I really love the look of the light, its exactly what I wanted! The only thing that stink is that it was labeled as "warm white" but compared to the other lights in the room its very cool looking. Almost looks like a florescent light. Also note that its not dimmable. I'm torn between giving it a 5 star rating because it looks great on the wall and seems to be great build quality, or a 3 star just because It sucks its so cool looking. Note: The other lights in the room are 3000k as well, If the others were 2700k then it would make sense. Wish there was a 2700k version of this light, I would buy it again in a second then. If the other lights in you room are a hair cooler this would be a great art light ... show more

These are great and well made! I’ll be honest, for the price, these were better than I thought. I bought these along with the larger size, but the gold was slightly different on the larger. It’s a bit more dull. These are great and I actually have them just hanging without proper installation (electricity running) 😆 and they look great! ... show more

Absolutely beautiful! Perfect adjustment and tilt option. Price not a match to any other similar product! Just be ready to spend some time and get frustrated installing... Side screws that hold fixture to the mounting plate are small, making it difficult to start screwing with fingers... try that while holding the hanging fixture and a screwdriver, balancing yourself on a ladder! On top of that, since in all fairness this is probably an issue with any fixture, apparently the screw holes seem aligned to the mounting plate, so that the plate is flush to the edge of the fixture, except it’s not. And if your wall is not perfectly finished and chances are it’s not, since the focus of drywall muddying is the wall, not perfect geometry for a fixture; the screw holes will not match the mounting plate! Honestly, I don’t know why the hole is not oval so we can slide the fixture slightly, matching it to the plate, but it is what is! 40min after struggling with this, I decided to use a tiny piece of painters tape between the plate and the wall, so that the plate could sit a fraction of an inch away from the wall, giving me the opportunity to align the fixture holes and screw it in place. Learning that lesson, took me 5min to install the second fixture. Looks amazing and is still worth the hassle... ... show more

This picture light was available, inexpensive, and has great features—brushed brass finish, the arm moves up and down and the light cylinder rotates so that you can get the light where you want. Fir the price I was afraid the quality would be low, but it has a lovely finish and weight to it. I do wish the arm was just a bit longer as the light hits the top of the frame casting just a bit of shadow. But other more expensive versions were simply unavailable for months. ... show more
