    • Don’t over tighten.
Being LED, they are brighter than the old ones that I replaced and easy to install. I wish that they were made a little more durable, you have to be very careful when tightening them or the threaded shaft will snap into.

    • Must ground
We used these for our rear license plate, you have to have metal to ground these lights. We had nice plastic license plate frame with a plastic bumper. We had to ground it to metal under the truck and run ground to each light.

Difficult to install a s license plate bolts but as stand alone lights they are bright. I used them with brake light flasher module on my motorcycle.

    • Poor quality
Ground was not connected to the threaded stud so lights would not work. Fixed that issue by bending over the small silver wire sticking out the end ( about 1/8" long) and crimping it against the end of the threaded area. When I went to install them, the threaded stud broke right where it connects to bullet area. Wasn't even using a wrench, just a socket in my hand, not on a ratchet.     • I wanted extra lights on the back of my motorcycle.
the lights were very bright and that was what I wanted on my motorcycle to make sure that anyone following me would see it. if my tail light should go out it would provide another set of lights.

great for adding lights to rear of bike. Easy to break the electrical connection if it has to be removed more than twice. one works one doesn't
