Overall decent for the price. NOT REPLACEABLE-The LED bulb is built-in to the unit and is not replaceable, which means that when it fails (hopefully a long time from the installation), you'll need to replace the entire unit instead of simply installing a new bulb. (See the photo fo the LED bulbs included here.) BRIGHTNESS-The lamp is very bright, in fact too much for my use. I installed it in a small bathroom-area and it is overwhelmingly bright especially at night. I'd have exchanged it for a different item but once it's installed it's a done deal. I'll likely install a dimmer switch to handle the issue. INSTALLATION-Installation is pretty straight forward but personally I found the instructions (included here ) only slightly confusing. I only had an issue getting one of the screws into the bracket. Might have gotten stripped along the way. (Photo of bracket installation is also included here.) VALUE-Overall, the product is a good value for the price you pay. The fact that the entire light will need to be replaced (instead of a simple bulb replacement) kept me from awarding it another star. ... show more

Product was lighter in weight than I thought it would be but seems sturdy enough for a ceiling fixture. It was very easy to install. Regarding the installation....The base plate that is fastened to the electrical junction box has two screws that attach it to the J-box. In addition, there are three holes along the perimeter of the base plate which can (optional) be attached to the ceiling with three small screws (1" to 2"). I used the optional screw holes to fasten to the base plate to the ceiling and it made the connection very sturdy. ... show more

Purchased this light as it has a ground wire, as most other do not. Also like that it puts some light on the ceiling, with the gap between trim ring and dome. Better light than the old 60w bulb in a walk in closet. Will be purchasing a 2nd for another walk in closet.
