I did not buy this for gaming. Too busy for all that. After buying one of these for my partner, I knew I wanted to get one of these for myself as well. He’s told me it’s his favorite desk mat he’s owned, so I’d say we’d both recommend it! It had a mild scent that dissipated quickly and after a day or two started to lay flat. The mat itself is thin and provides a very slight and soft cushioning. Sometimes the feet of my keyboard will leave indents in the mat, but it springs back up and recovers quickly and they disappear. I was worried that it might be too big for my 48” desk, but I think that the size is perfect. I was also worried about the white getting dirty, but the pleathery top coating seems to do a good job of repelling stains before I can clean them up. As for mouse compatibility it’s worked great for us! My partner games somewhat competitively on it just fine. I have a mouse pad in my photo, but I actually just use the desk mat now instead. I would not hesitate to buy this again or gift it! It has a beautiful sheen to it that isn’t shiny or matte and looks very high quality ... show more

I have had the grey mat for a few weeks now, and it looks great on my grey desk. It really elevates the aesthetic. The mat is relatively comfortable compared to ones I have had in the past. It could use a little more cushion just to make it softer. My favorite feature is the slip-resistant material. I have spilt some drinks on it already and so far there hasn't been any stains! I could see durability being an issue, but for now its as advertised! Lastly, I would NOT recommend if you are wanting to use this for gaming. My gaming mouse does not slide over the mat very well and occasionally gets some friction and gets stuck. If you only intend to use this for work, I think its a great purchase! ... show more

I bought this 3 months ago and its still holding up just fine. Easy to clean. Protects my bamboo desktop with a pop of soft color. I got the 36x17 in Fairy Pink. Color was as expected. I did put something on the corners to help weigh them down and flatten them out when I first got it. But it didn't take long. I've had no problems with it. The color I ordered I would call teal blue but some would call it turquoise. I really pops and adds color to my desk. So much nicer than black everything. Instead of returning them I used one for my vanity and the other under my TV stand and they fit perfectly! The largest sized ones were a much better fit for my L-shaped desk. This is the perfect and attractive solution for my desk, as my mouse pad and keyboard was constantly moving around or disappearing, falling on the floor--which is quite irritating. This keeps them from moving, plus it just looks so nice and clean. It lays completely flat-no problem with that. I bought the rose-brown color which is very pretty, it looks very nice against my dark wood (walnut), antique bankers desk. My husband now wants one in another color for his home work station. This desk mat stays in place and hasn’t moved around on my desk very little if at all in the 3-4 weeks that I’ve had it. It helps keep my desk clean and I can just use a saniwipe on it real quick at the end of the day and it’s good to go for the next day.
