The blue-green coloring of this mat is gorgeous. As I suspected the gold marking in between looks a bit odd, but I included a close-up photograph of it so you can decide if you like it or not. It immediately laid smoothly on the desk surface, had a negligible scent, and works great. The mat is decently thin and lays very smoothly with the desk surface. If you're looking for a thick padded layer this may not quite be what you want, but it's just what I needed to protect my desk surface from casual abrasions and get rid of my traditional-sized mouse pad. There are no issues at all with the print quality or overall manufacturing quality. I would buy from this seller again. Biggest change I'd like to see would be for the mat to be available to purchase at a different size ratio (18 or 20 inches instead of 16 wide). ... show more

This thing is big and seems well made (we will see as time passes). There is plenty of room for the mouse and keyboard with lots of extra room on top of that. The only problem I had was trying to choose which one of the multitude of pictures to choose from.

I bought this to replace the stock pad that came with my Razer keyboard/mouse (it wasn't wide enough). It comes neatly rolled up and has a bit of a strong, new car odor upon opening, but that eventually dissipates. As for the mat, as been pointed out, it's a little too thin. It also lacks the classic foaminess associated with mouse pads. The padding provides little comfort on the hands and arms, but it's still better than NOT having it there on the desk surface. There's plenty of real estate to roll the mouse around whether you're gaming or doing other mouse-intensive functions, while still allowing the keyboard to coexist without having it unevenly and wobbly dangle off to the side (a problem I had with the Razer mat). Lastly, the product description touts it being double-stitched for "long time using" (a term also used to for its easy-to-clean feature), however given how thin the material is, this may be an aspect you may want to keep an eye out in the time ahead. ... show more

This is a very good mousepad. It has survived about a year of wear and tear so far. Every Saturday I bring it to a friend's house for a sleepover. Very mobile (just stick in a water bottle holder of a backpack). It is nice and wide which enables me to have a low sensitivity. Haven't cleaned it yet (hasn't needed it. I've spilt water on it before and it doesn't absorb it. The mousepad just rejects it, allowing me to wipe it up before soaking through. Very comfortable. My mouse works very well on it. also, it is kind of thick. this is good because small Bumbs or divots in the table won't affect it. Also, it looks very smooth and clean. The dual nature design of fire vs ice is a great idea. If the makers keep adding different designs this will be an extremely good, personal, and customizable mouse pad.
