I bought this for my son when he was around 1 or so. He's now soon-to-be four and knows all the pictures and colors but we still keep it on the fridgerator and he still loves to play with it. I love the magnetic option and the only thing that keeps me from giving this a five-star rating is that I would have loved them to also include pink, white, and maybe gray. Make sure you have a large area for these paint buckets. They are as big as my kid's torso. He really enjoys sorting by color, category. Think of 'I spy' or 20 questions. The possibilities are endless. My kid doesn't like the insects.

I needed something to distract my toddler while I cooked or cleaned and this is a hit! He is distracted for a few minutes at a time but that is well worth it. The only concern is over time not sure about the durability because of the thin sides of the paint cans my toddler sometimes folds them when he is moving them around on the fridge.
