I erected this 3'w x 6'l lean-to greenhouse underneath my narrow patio overhange in case of snow & strong winds which we can experience in my area. It is nice, sturdy, & warm (so far) so I can sit in the doorway protected from weather. The steel skeleton isn't as thick as I wanted but the covering is thick & holds the whole thing together nicely. I put this thing together by myself which was fine for the structure but the covering was tough to do by myself. It should be opened up & draped OVER the top using 2 people instead of my method of going back & forth, front to back gradually stretching it over & around the structure. I love the 2 doors plus the extra steel ribs on top for stability & strength. I should have bought a 4' wide but others didn't have the extra ribs. ... show more

I usually wait to write reviews because I like to ensure long lasting quality. I will review again after more time has passed. I got this recently and was not too difficult to assemble. Wish the bars had numbers on them. I live in a northern state and will disassemble in the fall. Only the wrapping has the numbers. That being said, the greenhouse tent is working out real well. The size is good. It’s not 6ft talk for sure, but it is perfect for my needs. The material seems durable enough and my little sprouts love it too. Growing fast. The zippers move real easy up and down. Hope continues. It has gotten quite windy and using the tie downs and rocks at the base, the greenhouse is super stable and safe for plants. If lasts more than a year I will give 5 stars ... show more

Built the green house today. All poles, pole fasteners and three shelf shelving was accounted for with easy to follow directions. Cover is well made with sturdy zippers. Brackets have to screwed through the cover if you need extra stability. This is the only drawback found.

I needed a greenhouse to protect my herbs and veggies from squirrels and deer and I think this does the trick. Took me about 45 minutes to assemble by myself(most of that was laying the parts out as none of them were labeled so be sure to do that first to avoid improper assembly). Measurements were as advertised and it should fit my 5 pepper plants once they mature and hopefully the basil seeds I have begun to germinate when they grow too. It stormed the night I built it but the grass was dry inside when I entered the next day, so I think the cover did its job? I plan on adding stones to create a floor and weigh the structure down as I did not screw the structure to the house; windspeed is low in the area I placed it due to house and tree coverage on most sides so I don't think much more securing is necessary in my case but the greenhouse comes with screws, brackets, and stake tie downs if you need it. Lastly, the shelf it comes with is a nice perk considering the total price of the greenhouse($75 list price at time of ordering but I got it on sale for $46) and it holds all of my plants and gardening items with no issue. I've only had this for a few days, but I like it so far and will update if any changes to the durability/quality of the greenhouse occur over time. ... show more

    • Flimsy construction fell apart in moderate breeze
Construction is a bit flimsy. The greenhouse did not hold up in normal (moderate-fresh breeze) wind conditions in our area (North Texas). It also did not protect our plants against mild-moderate overnight freezes. Not the best value in our opinion.

this was easy to build. it is withstanding the wind and provides some protection for the potted trees that are inside. i don’t think it stays warm, but does keep the trees from freezing and having frost on them. we filled some sandbags to place on the bottom frame to keep it from blowing away in the patio. it comes with some stakes, but that did not work for us since it is on a concrete pad. ... show more

    • A few extras to make it sturdy

Having had several of these small greenhouses, I've learned to anticipate problems and head them off with a few simple additions. First, stretch some netting over the top of the greenhouse and tie that down to something solid, large concrete blocks or a handy shrub. The type sold for training peas works well. Second, use some silicon sealer to strengthen the bottom of zippers or other stressed points. The silicon works well for any fixes needed, too. I would give this a five star but the directions for assembly leave a lot to be desired. The strange angles make paying attention to details important but definitely a nice little structure once everything's put together. I also like the extra thickening of some of the connectors.
